Need some help with swain please!

So , i just got swain and find him very fun! i really like his kit, and if you happen to get ahead you are pretty unstoppable lol so im just looking for any kind of help/tips/tricks you guys know about him! Also, what should i be buying after RoA? Almost all fo the guides on lolking are not current unfortunately. P.S. If you know of any higher elo streamers that play swain often please let me know! i would appreciate/love to be able to talk to someone as they play certain matchups.

He has pretty wide range of items avilable for him .

Offensive: item 3003 item 3089 item 3027 item 3157 item 3001 item 3151 item 3135 item 3165 item 3174 item 3285 Defensive: item 3065 item 3143

Try to follow what the gameflow/teamcomposition tells you.

If you have e.g. a Vayne adc with Nami support and a Jayce toplane, naturally u'd go tankier build. If u have a braum suport with amumu jungle you can go a bit more yolo with an abyssal included and so on.

Swain is such a fun champ, it is great to be able to both front line and deal stupid amounts of damage at the same time! If you want any tips, I suggest looking at this guide (the featured Swain guide on LoLking.net) http://www.lolking.net/guides/142015 It was an excellent guide that I made a lot of use out of! If you want a streamer, he does not stream often but he does have a few videos on youtube. TL Quas used to be a main Swain back when he played in Venezuela. He plays top, I know, but if you want him mid lane most of the things he does (builds, laning phase, team fights, blah blah blah) are quite similar. One thing I want to say, DO NOT BUILD MANA REGEN ON SWAIN!!! You think he needs it? He doesn't. Waste of gold. If you have mana problems, not building one of those items is a great way to figure out how to use his kit effectively, because top Swain players never build those items.
