Malphite Abilities

In most cases, you would max Q against someone who pokes you from a distance and max E against someone who fights you in melee range.

Personally, much prefer E max and try to only pick Malphite into melee opponents.

I never max Q first on Malphite. His presence, his purpose, is to cause a ton of chaos in the middle of a fight. I would max his E first, then probably his W.

I prefer maxing W in the Jungle (I take armor/cdr runes, tank masteries and can start with like 80 armor) E when I'm going up an enemy in Melee I know is going to be up in my face (like ) and Q when I need to harass or counter-harass () if I can play the lane very safely and generally don't need to worry about harass or if I need to poke them back.
