Keep Zed disable we enjoy the game
I don't miind if you work on him until season6 its fine, really.
I don't miind if you work on him until season6 its fine, really.
I must admit if they could also disable
for a while my life would be perfect.
Come on man stop, whys everyone gotta hate on fizz, you guys act like he has infinite mobility and can scale hybrid once he goes "ad" without 0 ap.. oh wait
Na for but foreal can i get
disabled next month?
People dont know how to use ekko and fed, hes like an ap zed..
Katarina is just _that _champ..
People either know how to play yasuo and do well(rare) or they think because they have static shiv they are now unkillable and feed, not to mention get burst down late game
thats right katarina and voy boy fanboys down vote me.
What's a Voyboy Fanboy main? Can I main Voyboy Fanboy? What does he do? Is he viable, or is this meta just not right for him at the moment? Voyboy seems pretty cool himself, I wouldn't mind playing a character based on him briefly before I go back to actual game.
Also, I have no idea what you're talking about with Fizz up there. Implying he's bullshit, or not? Because you implied he was, but then basically took it back in the next sentence, and on the internet that's not the most clear way to get a point across.
I wouldn't mind
to be disabled either
make all my dreams come true by disabling riven, rito pls <3
Jesus christ I didn't know a summoner name could be that long.
Look who just got disabled today....
Seems dreams come true for the time being.

Although I have not tested this, I believe that
cannot prevent damage from
ults. Tahm's ult makes the consumed ally untargetable, but not immune to damage, nor does it remove debuffs. It can certainly prevent Zed powering up his Death Mark if Tahm responds quickly before Zed can pile on too much additional damage with his burst though, but the Tahm will need to be in the right place and have quick reactions to make a meaningful difference in this regard.
I'm so tired of reading all these threads complaining about
. He's not even good right now.
's ult is basically useless If you're in a 5v5 situation. You have to wait around until the enemy uses all of their big disengage and/or the support uses
. After the ult nerf whenever you ult something you're telling the enemy team for .75 seconds "Hey look I'm about to be right here for an entire second, please let me kill your carry and don't just cc and kill me. K? thx." This makes
super
reliant to kill someone in teamfights.
His damage is delayed, compared to someone like
for example, who can do just as much, if not more in an incredibly shorter amount of time. We're talking 3-4 seconds faster here, which is a big difference.
You run the risk of making your team full AD, making it super easy to itemize against you, which is bad when you have three tanks running around on the enemy team with 4k health, 300 armor, and a ton of cc. (I will admit that since the new devourer is out not as many tanks have been played from what I've seen, and I'd love to tell you what it's like playing Zed now if he wasn't disabled.)
AP bruiser champions having been buffed recently, along with making
cheaper and making
a good jungler causes
mains everywhere to cry.
The last two support champions released can completely negate Zed's burst.
just eats whoever
ults.
just ults whoever
ults.
He's super easy to shutdown,
,
, and
completely negate his burst.
TL;DR
doesn't compare to other assassins, is too slow/easy to shutdown, there are a lot of ways to counter his ult, and what he lacks in instant damage isn't made up for in mobility after Rito nerfed his ult.
He's still one of the most annoying things to lane against with his manaless poke and he's too good at last hitting.
That's the tradeoff of being so easily countered, counterplayed and extremely team reliant lategame when it comes to teamfights.
That's his thing, his laning phase and his mid game if his laning was decent.

If someone like
who has tons of counterplay and a sub par lategame is "unfun", then what are champions like
![]()
![]()
![]()
![]()
![]()
who all are much more consistent and offer not even half the counterplay ?
Why is he unfun to play against anyway? Because he uses energy? He has high cooldowns early on to compensate.
He's too safe? If he uses his combo to poke he loses his escape for about 17 seconds or so, making him easy to gank.
He forces you to build
? Like you weren't going to do it anyway.
Or is it because if you're the ADC pushing a lane without vision he has enough damage to punish you for not warding and having no map awareness? Any other assassin could do the same thing, but better.
I'm still not seeing what makes Zed fun to play against..
I'm not gonna build Zhonya's on an AD champion, and his mobility is frustrating to duel against.
Just because he's "Not strong" doesn't mean he's fun to play against. I don't think you're getting it.
[deleted]
The game isn't balanced around fun. It's based on what's strong/weak. Most the time if something is "unfun" it's overly strong/lacks counterplay, and (hopefully) gets balanced accordingly.
To me what's "fun to play against" is weak, something I can beat easily. It varies from person to person, which is why you don't make champions based around what one person finds "fun to play against".
Just because it's "unfun" doesn't mean it doesn't have counterplay or can be easily negated. I don't think you're getting it.
Ehh.. The game was made for fun. Because, y'know, it's a video game.
Zed may not be popular in the meta (and I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say that's why you think he's weak) but his kit, much like Vladimir, Annie, etc., have something fundamentally frustrating and broken about them; meaning it's not a numbers issue.
People are happy Zed is disabled because he's a pain in the butt to lane against, and gets ridiculous if he snowballs. I can guarantee you that you're the minority here in terms of what people find unfun to play against, and Zed fits the bill.
Dont worry. among the other 100 or so champions you'll find someone else to QQ about.
Even if 100 champions were disabled, someone would complain about the remaining champions. Absolutely every single champion is bullshit to somebody.
Let them delete
, and I'm good.

Leave Sona alone she has such a nice personality :(
Leave Sona alone she has such a nice personality :(
They're just jealous because she's got a nice rack.
ok it was funny the first time
after like the 10th thread its not that funny anymore
95% of the people in this thread are nothing but anti-assassin circle jerking sheep.
95% of these boards are anti-assassin circle jerking sheep
Geeze, I wonder why people complain about assassins over EVERY OTHER CHAMP CLASS. Could it be the free mobility and insane damage they get.... nah can't be. What about the blink, dashes, bleeds and other overloaded effects in their kits? No....
Could it be that many can basically use the same items as ADC's or Mages and be obnoxiously more powerful? Nah.... can't be surely....
Get your head out your ass and play a champ that isn't so safe and so easy and you might see what 95% of this board sees.
Nah it's because assassins make you feel bad because deep down you know if your team actually pplayed like a team it wouldn't be an issue. Not to mention that it makes you play safer and people like going ham more than adjusting the style for the game
That's my point, why should you need 2, 3 or 4 OTHER champions just to deal with ONE assassin because they are so annoying to lockdown and kill and outdamage nearly everyone on the team?
So basically you feel like 1v1 should never be good. If you lose lane and get 1vs1 or your mid feeds your team or you screwed you. Don't blame the game. Next you are going to say champions good at teamfights should only be useful in skirmishes
Yes I'm going to take your opinion over everyone's else's at LCS, challenger players, master players and diamond players. You know because bronze EUW knows best.
I hate seeing these threads so much because they're either made by AD carry mains that think they're too high and mighty for QSS or they're made by people who play mages with infinite range or other people that are supposed to counter zed, but they suck it's hilarious
An item such as QSS or Zhyona should never be considered as only way to counter champion.
Unless it's starting, free item everyone can get from minute 1.
An item such as QSS or Zhyona should never be considered as only way to counter champion.
Unless it's starting, free item everyone can get from minute 1.
By that logic we need to delete every single mage and every single adc.
Because when I play against a fed adc I need to buy randuins and thornmail. We shouldn't have to buy items to counter champions, right?
When I play against syndra I need to buy a hexdrinker/MR, and we shouldn't have to buy items to counter other champs right?
This is a retarded excuse for zed being "oppressive". Being forced to buy these items doesn't make Zed oppressive, it just encourages itemization to counter a champ, and if you think that's wrong, then look above.
Against adcs you have many different armor options, against zed you need zhonyas or qss due to the extreme damage boost from his ultimate. Yes they are hard counters but you cannot get zhonyas before zed hits six unless you are a challenger smurf or something. Is zed all that op? No not really. He is definitely the most annoying champ to play as a mage. Zed knows that when he ults you will zhonyas if you can. This means that he will get that one second delay on his ult to pass and can then immediately dodge any hard cc you will have if he thinks you will throw it once you aren't in stasis, which you have to since he will win an auto attack battle. His weakness is in teamfighting as you can usually react to stop his kill in that situation with a heal or something, but 1 on 1 he is opressive if he has played zed enough times to have reached a level of competence.
the problem is that qss/zhonays is the only way to do so. against adc's and such you can build countless different armor items. against mages you can build lots of mr items(although admittedly i think there need to be more)
So according to all you kids on the boards just disable all of the fun to play, interesting and mechanically intense champions? Lol you guys are pathetic, l2 play against champs instead of wasting your life complaining about them

Kek.
i didnt realize i specifically mentioned champs by name
I agree with Fizz but Akali is basically a weaker version of Diana...
Diana was a shitty version of Akali until Akali got nerfed.
The cycle continues.....
I see you have first pick Zed. Please hold why the entire team counters you by picking counters like
and
just to make your life miserable. :)
How is Zed mechanically intense to somebody like
or
. It takes MORE skill to win with them because they don't have 1000 dashes and infinite safety after ulting with the whole "Oops! I made a mistake... better dash out" -
and
. The rest of us have to LIVE with our mistakes. Assassins never do, apart from
and to some degree
.
Are you dumb? Because this is how you come across as dumb.
No, not at all, just pointing out how incredibly easy assassins are because they never pay for their misplays like other champions do.
You're saying that Zed isn't mechanically intense when compared to Zilean!? Do you have any comprehension of what Mechanics are?
It's kind of a lot easier to hit a button and blink away or land a linear skillshot (that has increased range with access to W) than it is to land a double bomb to access the secret unlockable that is Zilean stun.
He wasn't saying that Zed doesn't require mechanics. He's saying that when you have a good assassin player and a good [insert mage] player, the latter tend to get punished a lot harder for messing up because of their lack of mobility creep which I agree with. What makes Talon so healthy as an assassin? It's that his escape is tied to his damage directly so he either does one or the other. He doesn't get to rolfstomp delete someone than port away two times like Leblanc or Zed.
People aren't even arguing that Zed is broken. I rarely have a hard time against a Zed, but I almost always find his kit obnoxious so not having to deal with him while he gets bugfixed feels like a breath of fresh air.
