What Should I Do Concerning my LP in Ranked?

Making this short: I'm at 0 LP in Bronze 4, not out of intention but because either I fall short or the rest of my team does (this varies, I want to improve myself when I can but can't do too much about laners who afk or feed). I have lost three times in a row today, have lost promos to get into Bronze 2 four times in a row, and Bronze 3 twice.

I was able to get back to the top of Bronze 3 from the bottom of Bronze 4 after a while, but I just have these massive losing streaks; part of me feels that I either tilt or burnout way too much to play ranked and be really good at it, but I know the champions I main quite well.

At this point, what do I do? If you'd like, refer to LoLKing under my summoner name or the Match History via the LoL main site.

(Note: I have received plenty of aid and tips from the forums and guides, and I do what I can to incorporate them, but if I'm at the bottom of Bronze 4 then something's off)

Ranked is better practice than normals, so I'd keep doing it even if you don't do too well. However, if you're remotely on tilt, just play normals. Also, I'd recommend doing a warmup game before playing ranked if you have the time.

Also, after a loss, take a break. After two, play a normal game before your next ranked. This generally helps you be better prepared and in the right mindset.

at this point i recommend getting really really good at 1 champ and learn everything about their mechanics and eventually you will be able to carry yourself out. I was there not too long ago but once you figure it out it will only take a couple days to climb out.

here's how I see it, the seasons almost over. U can either go HAM and try to climb or just play n improve in norms. Either way, it`ll be about the same. The key to remember is you really dont know how to play that well if you're bronze. Granted Im a lowly silver 3, but I've gone up against plat smurfs who have recognized my skill level / decision in games that bested them.

If you're looking for season rewards, im not sure if you have enough time to grind the LP necessary for the gold reward as its a learning process for you to improve. It is possible but will depend how fast you pickup things.

What you need to work on is objectives. Thats the biggest thing in bronze.

First and foremost tho, u need to learn how to create an advantage in your lead and how to trade / lane properly be it top, mid / bot.

2ndly, u need to know priority lanes to gank if ur jungler / mid as it makes no sense to worry about a fed janna right? you're more likely afraid of a fed cait.

3rd - you need to learn how to close out the game after you've created the advantage.

Those are the principals you need to grasp.

In the end, i suggest you work on them in normz more so your LP doesnt decay.

i'm kind of in same boat. I know what i need to do to get out of Bronze but actually doing those things in game never works. Basically i've Realized that i deserve to be in Bronze 1 and thats just how it will be. I find playing vs bots is pointless cause they dont act like real people at all. I mean yes for bots they are well programmed but act nothing like real players.

I recommend choosing something just slightly off the meta. If you like trist i might suggest jinx, her rockets act like trist's explosive shot, or cait, who's normal range is equal or bigger than that of a trist before level 14. feel free to add me if you want, i main adc and might be able to help ya out a lil bit
