How's Diana Mid doing atm?
Back when she was free i tried out Diana
. i liked her playstyle, but couldn't decide if i wanted to buy her. How is she doing at the moment? Is she in a good spot? i don't see her used often.

She's in a pretty bad spot currently, regardless of position.
I played her jungle for awhile, but the new jungle changes destroy her there too.
The mid lane hasn't really changed much in the season shift, and Diana's never really been in a bad place that I've seen, she's just very much an assassin and so falls off as easily as she can carry. She's great if you know what you're doing and know when to commit for that Q R Ignite W E R Q combo.

I didn't do well, but not because of the enemy Ahri.
Diana has a few weaknesses:
- To hit your Q is more or less crucial to win trades.
- Diana is in my opinion a bad melee character. (Other melee chars are mostly AD or can shield themselves from the damage)
- The passive makes lasthitting a bit harder, as I think.
- It's like Katarina, you need enemies with no or "soft" CC.
Just my opinion, taken from one game with her lately. I should play her again, mid isn't my main role though.
Still reasonably strong for a while if you get ahead but is pretty bad if your behind. All in all she's still pretty underwhelming to play atm.
i like her too, her combos are easy, but she is hard to play atm imo
Real men play Jungle 
Her jungling is much stronger ATM than her mid play. Just literally don't put a point in her E at all until level 5, and bring the ganking pain train level 6. Go WQWQER for leveling then max Q and get skirmishers.
Skirmishers smite+Passive+Nashors+Lich Bane is the dope ass dope.
