How's Diana Mid doing atm?

Back when she was free i tried out Diana . i liked her playstyle, but couldn't decide if i wanted to buy her. How is she doing at the moment? Is she in a good spot? i don't see her used often.

She's in a pretty bad spot currently, regardless of position.

I played her jungle for awhile, but the new jungle changes destroy her there too.

i originally tried her in the jungle and did horrible back a few months ago when she was free. i tried her mid during her last free week and did pretty well. i find it funny that she supposedly counters kat, yet even with an instant channel cancel with E her ult still kills you from full hp. does she have any good matchups or is the surprise factor (few people in my matches play her) the only reason people will die to her?

I actually tried her in the jungle earlier today and while the match was lost due to a very long serious of very idiotic mistakes by my laners even after I managed to get most of them fed, she actually held up rather well even in the stronger jungle. You just have to take an extra point in her shield, so the skill order goes W Q W E. If you're having a difficult time keeping her health up, take another point in W, but if you're comfortable start putting out the damage on your Q.

The mid lane hasn't really changed much in the season shift, and Diana's never really been in a bad place that I've seen, she's just very much an assassin and so falls off as easily as she can carry. She's great if you know what you're doing and know when to commit for that Q R Ignite W E R Q combo.

Here is my ONE game I played with her, lately: Matchhistory
I didn't do well, but not because of the enemy Ahri.
Diana has a few weaknesses:

To hit your Q is more or less crucial to win trades.
Diana is in my opinion a bad melee character. (Other melee chars are mostly AD or can shield themselves from the damage)
The passive makes lasthitting a bit harder, as I think.
It's like Katarina, you need enemies with no or "soft" CC.

Just my opinion, taken from one game with her lately. I should play her again, mid isn't my main role though.

Still reasonably strong for a while if you get ahead but is pretty bad if your behind. All in all she's still pretty underwhelming to play atm.

Her jungling is much stronger ATM than her mid play. Just literally don't put a point in her E at all until level 5, and bring the ganking pain train level 6. Go WQWQER for leveling then max Q and get skirmishers.

Skirmishers smite+Passive+Nashors+Lich Bane is the dope ass dope.
