How would this affect the game? At certain levels of play, people may not understand that the top laner needs something to tp to in order to help with dragon. If you could tp to scuttle, then you wouldn't need to rely on team mates placing wards in the pit as often. This would also mean if the enemy team has scuttle, they could tp in and steal dragon or baron. Would this be an interesting mechanic? Is there some massive flaw with it?
You should be able to as it acts like a ward. I have tried so many times and failed. I don't see why not.
The problem is the fact there would be no counterplay other then killing the scuttle crab yourself.
Sure the crab already grants unsweepable vision, but people already sweep the wards out of the area to PREVENT TP plays.

The problem is, Wards are better for having teleport points, because if set up before hand, the enemy team won't know where your top laner will TP in from. Scuttle is a giant bullseye of "DON'T BE BETWEEN HERE AND THEM"
I vote no. As other people have mentioned, the scuttle crab cannot be removed so this would make it even more powerful than it already is as there'd be zero way to counter TP plays.
I like any idea that gets people to actually pay attention to scuttler.
One big thing is in lower elo play(Bronze to pre30) there are literally no wards-i know because im lv10- there are no wards whatsoever and this help the people that bring TP and ONLY tp to minions and towers and that gets dangerous and limited the later it goes on. The skuttle crab TP idea might be bad for higher elo play (people that places wards) but its a convinience TP spot for lower elo play.

I like it. Since it's always visible, it has massive counterplay anyway.
It's a nice idea. Wards are easy to place anyways, so it's not a big power boost to Teleport.
It'd save me a lot of grief up in top lane. So many times I've seen a drag slip away because the other team had a ward at drag, but my team took scuttle and went for it, their top TPs in and I just get to sit there and cry
