You Say There is No Elo Hell

I am in bronze 5 as of right now. Most of my friends are in plat or gold and I play with them all the time. I can beat some of my friends and I also do well playing five mans with them but I am still in bronze 5. Every game and by every game I mean 90% of my games I have someone feed, afk, don't call positions (so we have two mids or something stupid), or leave during the game. I do not rage and I complete all of my games. I ping place wards encourage people. I let people play whatever roll they want and will fill but I still continue to lose over half of my games. I don't win every lane but I rarely feed. Can someone please tell me how to get out of this mess? I have considered making a new account and going back up to 30 to do my placements again because I just can't seem to get away from people being like this. I really don't want to do this because of the time I have put in and all the skins I have.I have tried everything I can think of. Advice please

I felt the same way you did. Please download some replay software (I use SkinSpotlights Replay and I love it) and watch your replays. I promise you that you will see tons of mistakes and you will see tons of ways you can improve.

Second, only play ranked when you have a duo partner you trust. Two good people can carry at least 50% of games.

Finally, you need to look at your stats. You say you buy wards but your stats say that you raely, if ever, by a pink ward or a green ward (I'm looking at your stats on op.gg.). Also, I don't see a single game where you upgrade your trinket. Furthermore, your CS per minute is quite low for the roles you are playing. On the plus side though your KDA is quite high so good job there.

Trust me, checking stats and watching your replays is the key to climbing. I was at 0 LP in Bronze 4 and after less than 20 games I've risen to 97 LP in Bronze 3 with a 75% win percentage and a KDA of over 4.

It doesn't matter if you make a new account, because you are still the problem. [Don't take offense, I don't mean that as an attack]

It's up to you to carry and lead your team. It is a waste of time to blame your teammates, because you will pretty much never have the same teammate twice. Due to this, only the consistent thing between your games is yourself.

There are lots of guide and information out on the internet. Check out Gbay99's old videos. They gameplay stuff is a bit outdated, but the psycology behind it is still sound.

I am in bronze 3. Every once in a while I get a high gold/plat/diamond who is playing their friends account. They absolutely destroy the other team by themselves and I mean destroy, even as support. They tell us to follow them and the other team just cannot do anything. If you are in B5 its because you are not gold+. Yes there is elohell but its for high bronze/low silver players that keep getting bad promos and cant carry hard enough in those 4v5 games. A gold in B5 would easily turn a 4v5 into a victory and the other team wouldnt even know what hit them. I have seen it happen many times.

You need to learn from your mistakes. And tell your friends that you need help you can learn alot from them.I don't have tips for situations like this but just watch guide on how to play that champion or that champion.

Try get out the mind set that your stuck, 35% win rate is one reason you are not climbing, try stick to certain champions for each role that you know you can play well, and just focus on winning your lane, the rest will come over time, but thinking your better than the people in your league is a mistake.

b5-s5 literally just worry about your lane. If you destroy your lane then you have the ability to solo win the game by pushing down every tower in your lane and soloing anyone that trys and deal with you, even 1v2 since your opponent will be super weak. At that elo murdering a lane usually makes their team rage and which means a lose. be selfish, mute everyone and do your thing since you know you can win it for everyone.

If you can beat me 1v1 i'll coach you all the way to diamond.

I'll play with one hand and i'll play Soraka.

Playing with Diamonds doesn't mean much if you just get coached by them all game.

Just throwing this out there.

First, cleanup your rune pages. They're mostly T2 and largely random. Look up guides for the champions you play most and work from there. There's no reason to forgo some 300g in free stats every game.

As Karl said, you do well with your firends because they choose objectives and manage minions. You can just ride along and try not to die. In solo queue, especially if you main support and jungle, you need to steer your team to safe objectives, mind the respawn timers, and ward likely combat areas.

You won't win every game, but you just need to win more often than you lose. The enemy team has plenty of AFKs, ragequitters, and such, too.
