All champions take skill

Solo queue is home to players who like to play champions that are strong and such. Then we have the players who like to point out "that champion takes no skill" or "congrats click to kill" or "spin to win." I can tell you right now, ALL CHAMPIONS TAKE SKILL.

The next time you see someone play annie, click to stun or other bullshit, know that being able to click an ability and aim it isn't what makes it skill. What makes you a skilled player at a certain champion is your positioning and your ability to use your abilities successfully.

You see that vayne player who thinks vayne is all op and shit, well i can tell you they won't go too far with that mentality. Just because a champ is "op" and you can tumble and condemn people to a wall doesn't make you skilled. This same player gets killed first in teamfights.

SO the point is, SKILL IS IN POSITIONING and KNOWING YOUR ROLE

Wrong. Positioning is knowledge based while skill is based on the execution of knowledge.

The skill required to flash R with annie is substantially lower than the skill required to kite with kalista. Positioning is important for both of these plays, but one is clearly easier to execute than the other.

You kinda just proved the point on champions take skill. You have put the same argument forth of "this champion is harder to play than that one."

No one said that was false, in fact everyone can agree with that. To position yourself wisely is strategic skill. anyone could have the knowledge of "I'm an assassin, so i'll wait for my team to engage so i can prioritize," but to be able to keep that in mind in all situations of game is a skill. A skill of knowledge it is; However, it takes skill to position yourself in advantage points.

Depends on definition of skill, Mechanical skill, Game knowledge, or both. Most people mean they take no mechanical skill.

Gameplay and balance discussion would go 100% better and with less grief if everyone would collectively get over it and admit that "This is just a four-move game, the skill bar isn't very high."

None of this "Your champ is just easy!". All champions are easy!

The difficulty of this game comes chiefly from it's PvP aspects; There is little to no input difficulty. A small few champions may be justifiably argued to be hard_er_ than other champions, but the bar is still in the same (low) area.

There are really only four moves per champion. There's no combination, timing, situational, charged, resourced, compositional, unit-based, or anything else, other property that is found in video games, that changes that.

not exactly true. The Balance and game play should be balanced around the highest levels of play imo.

Pardon, but that isn't related to what I wrote. What level of play a game is balanced around is a different topic entirely.

My post was about the false perceived difficulty of champions. And also especially the simplicity of champions "I don't play but beat me in lane".

You are silver 5 m8 just relax and play the game. You still dont know how to play and know what skill in this game is. If you did you wouldnt be silver 5. So get better and play the game instead of making silly posts that have incorrect info.
