It depends on placements. You get a soft reset on your mmr when the next season starts.
I've never went down a tier or division after ranked reset. Even when it used to be a hard reset. I went from silver 1 to gold 5 and this year gold 5 to gold 4. I've always had a 5/5 or 6wins/4 in placements though. So in my opinion, as long as you get 50% win or more, you'll keep your current rank or get better. I heard your overall win ratio also is a factor. Mine was around 55%.
There's a high chance you will be placed lower next season. Although placements are usually around the same mmr as your current mmr. (Played against diamonds and challengers for plat 1 placements.
