Is malphite a good jungler?

Every malphite I see usually is really good both in lane and during teamfights, so I thought I could pick him up. I don't recall seeing a jungle malphite though, so I was wondering if he's good in the jungle or if he should only be kept in top lane.

No, his clear is too slow and too mana intensive.

It honestly depends on how you play him. If you take flat AD or flat AS marks / quints and max his W, which increases his total AD by a % amount, his clear is very respectable and not mana intensive at all. However, you could also take armor marks and armor quints and max his E, since it does have an armor scaling. This route is much more mana intensive, but your ganks will have more burst.

Jungle Malphite works best when the enemy team has many auto attack reliant champions, such as an ADC mid or Master Yi top.

He is good if he doesn't get invaded. AKA bronze-silver-gold. At higher tier the enemy jungler will come and rape you in half. He clears slowly and allways runs OOM.

He's better top lane as a counter to auto attackers, His jungling is nothing special. Slow clears, ganks aren't the best pre 6, and is super easy to invade.

Only real merit he has for being in the jungle is if your team needs a tank and your top laner is a glass cannon like Tryndamere. Also his ganks with his ult can be good, but he hits 6 faster in lane and is more safe there.
