this isnt season 4 anymore so you need to adapt to the new changes that are happening in each patch. it may not be as important as you think but learning whats new about each champion ( if something has changed ) is so important because you can then use it to your own advantage. for example graves and sivir are very strong picks now in all elos so i recommend you learn to play those champs but whilst being prepared to learn newer champs if the meta changes again.
another thing is to focus on csing more. go into a private match and just learn how to last hit and you will be getting atleast 100 cs every game without a doubt.
finally, please take the time to learn every role in the game.. its just horrible when you have to fill and space because your last pick and you dont know the role your playing so you just 'wing it'... your team will get frustrated and this will result in your losing more games than usual because obcourse you will possibly get mad at them back.
Overall just learn the game and learn the roles and get more into the roles you enjoy more. good luck in solo q friend :)
