I can only win with Jinx

Seriously. I'm 7-0 in ranked on her. I'm not sure what mechanics I'm missing on my other champs, but I'm incapable of winning a game with anyone else. Sivir, Caitlyn.. Just can't do it.

I know the general response will be "Jinx is OP" - but what can I learn on Jinx that I can transition into better games with my other ADCs?

Or tips on how to play those adcs? I'm new to League, and am hoping to learn. Is the best way to watch YouTube videos of those champs winning games?

Things you can learn from jinx...

Map awareness, notice when enemies are getting low and send your ult out.

Brush checking, you can use her chompers to grant vision of a bush without facechecking.

Positioning, her conditional mobility means you have to pay attention to where you are in teamfights.

If you're good with jinx you'd be good with Miss Fortune, they're similar both great teamfighting ADC's, but personally I'd pick jinx over MF if you can.

Hello there. ADC main here. I main Cait, Jinx, Sivir, Ashe in that order. I think what you are probably most benefitting from with Jinx is her in built attack speed. She is the champ that I get the highest CS in for that reason. And she has a decent poke. Cait - love the range, but last hitting is SO HARD with her.

To see if this is the case, try building a high Attack Speed rune page and using it on Cait. (I had removed all armor on mine and only used runes for attack speed and physical damage and got it to be about 15% speed and 15 physical damage. I've since changed it to include armor, which I think dropped it to something like 15% and 11 physical damage, but I can't remember. I can honestly say that the difference is for the better).

(I HOPE THE FORUM BUG IS FIXED OR ELSE MY TIME SPENT ON WRITING THIS POST WOULD BE WASTED) Try to build a rune page for Auto-attack based ADC (Corki, Ezreal do not benefit THAT much from AS though), you can look at my 3rd rune page for that, if you want to you can also buy 2 atk spd blues as well. Jinx is OP, obviously. She has decent poke like Cait's, tower pushing ability, conditional escape, etc. One thing about her is her lack of mobility especially behind in items/kills/lane.

OKOK let's use my experience as an example. (Sorry I have no idea what I'm talking about, just sharing my experience)

I main ADC. Never mind, I just main Corki/Graves/Trist. I can't play Caitlyn. I can't play Sivir. I think I can't even play Jinx too wtf, now I don't know if I should buy Firecracker Jinx anymore. "omg Kureyon why the fuk do u call urself an adc main again lmfao u cant even play cait lolol" My playstyle is like passive if needed, and go aggressive AF if I know my champion is capable of doing so. I like to play all-in champions, instead of poke (so boring ugh like you don't get kills it's BORING). Thus, Corki, Graves, Trist are the best candidates for my playstyle.

Corki - Poke if needed, good all-ins if he has Triforce (powerspike). Graves - Not really "pokey" but he's one of the best burst ADCs in the current meta. Trist - Weak laning (not THAT weak after E rework), but outscales almost every ADC late game (on par with Kog'Maw, Vayne. Slightly better than Jinx and Ashe) because of her 700~ range (nerfed again ugh) and insane mobility (W resets after kill and assists lmao)

Jinx: Poke if needed (as always), but really good all-ins and followups with her crowd control. And she has execution some more, wtf. For me, Jinx is an ADC who can be aggressive/passive laning but she can go totally out of control mid/late game, very similar to Tristana, but Jinx doesn't have that great of a mobility.

Try to find your playstyle: a) Do you like to poke your enemy laners and send them back to base or die? (Caitlyn, Ezreal, Varus?) b) Do you like to play passive early and FUK YOUR ENEMIES UP late game??? "SURPRISE LMAO LATE GAME WINSTANA HERE." (Kog'Maw, Vayne, Tristana, Ashe, Sivir?) c) Do you like to have OK laning and great burst, but fall off late game (assuming that enemy has already stacked armor)? (Graves, Corki, Ezreal, Lucian, Draven?)

I think you're the C type, but you be the better judge.

Not to be mean or anything but once you start losing games with her, you will start questioning yourself. "I can't say I main ADC, I can only play Jinx..." "OMG I can only play Jinx wtf I think I need to learn another-" "I'm losing. Constantly. With my main. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME"

^ Oh wait that's just me.

Good luck anyways, if you wanna ask questions you can add me but I'm Bronze so maybe I'm shit.

OK, here's one thing that helped me a ton.

Take any laning champ you plan on using. (top, mid or ADC) Create a custom game, don't generate any bots Enter and for 15-20 minutes you work on farming. Just try to last hit the minions. Remember to move around, but the key is to get as good a CS as you can. This will get you used to last hitting for money, it also will give you insight as to the attack speed, damage and range of the champ. After that, enter normal matches for a while and work on your mechanics in lane.

It makes a difference. I'm starting to see my laning phase improve for every champion. Sadly, my team fighting is where I need work. ARAMs for me. :(
