I'm asking for advice on to improve myself so I get myself up the ladder. I'm not the kind of person that blames my teams for being here its my own fault for being bad. What are some things I could work and what role and champ is the best for carrying bronze games

If you want to climb elo the two things you should focus on are mechanics and decision making as i feel these are the most important things you need. Those two things are learned from practice and playing more as others have said, although the decision making can be improved by watching higher elo players play and realizing what they do and why they do that in the position. As for what role and who to carry with honestly that doesn't matter to much in bronze by i guess mid or jungle because you can affect the other lanes the most from those two positions.

Mute everyone as soon as the game starts. Do not use /all chat. Pick a champion with a strong early game and at least decent scaling. Try to carry as hard as possible by going HAM more than your standard deviation. Improve. Win.

At Bronze 5 almost any champ can carry a game. Pick your top 3 champions and stick with them learn their strengths and weaknesses and know when you can win/lose a trade/teamfight (most battles are decided before you even fight). Also pick a role main it and call it every game, but don't fight for it; if you don't get it then pick your second best role. Don't focus on your rating/LP focus on getting better as getting better will improve LP/rating. Generally speaking in game you should focus on CSing and poking (without taking damage in return), then learn to exert pressure and when to rotate. Watching twitch streams of people playing your champs/roles will help you learn what to do (combos, decision making, etc).

stay positive. if people are being negative dont use the chat. just do you, concentrate on your own game. be a positive influence on the team. ping a lot on where you are going on the map, objectives, enemy locations etc (intuitive pings). let people know youre placing wards in places especially if youre supporting. place wards (very important).

biggest thing is concentrate on your mechanical skills, map awareness (includes pings and warding), builds. if you really are a noob practice new champs in the bot games or in custom games. watch youtube videos. let people know when you bring it into a pvp game (most people are understanding and will give advice)

above all have fun and find people who will have fun with you that arent negative toxic jerks. dont pick up bad habits

edit: any champ can get you out of bronze if you get good at them. malzahar kept me in silver last season. im concentrating on supp thresh this season. i recommend sticking to a small pool to get good that you like. doesnt matter what people think is op.

The main way to get out of Bronze is be a better team player. Which means ward and ping constantly, try to plan an attack instead of just reacting, and DO NOT CHASE if you do not have vision, and communicate with your team. Yes you might be playing solo que but it takes all five of yall to win. One last thing get to know each champions kit that way you can pick a champ that would best fit your teams comp

I take advantage of the poor trading, and play hyper aggressive. In Bronze 4 and 5, Push the wave and initiate on good trades and you'll snowball out of control. (Especially if you're able to have 80Cs@10)

Accept that you are bad. Step one succeeded. Accept that people you are playing are also Bad BUT don't think they are worst then you.(you have to get your mind around that your playing and playing with bad players but you can also lose to them if you are not much better) Look for area's that you can improve. One area is good CS, another is map awareness, Flash timers buff timers, buying and placing wards. Don't think about winning but think about improving then wins will come. Also Main a champion or role this is the best way to rise up the ladder.

Watch streamers and pay attention to the things they do, the times they do them and when they back off from things.

-Pretend there is an imaginary line a distance in front of anyone you are chasing. Turn around once you get to that point regardless if you still have not killed them. The closer to their base the shorter the distance.

-BUY YOUR TRINKET UPGRADE! if not at level 9 at least by level 11.

-If they are fucked, leave. Don't give up free kills because you want to be a hero or save the doomed tower.

You can add me if you like. Been playing since 2010. The soft reset pushed me down and I have not been grinding to dig my way out. Currently B2 100lp.

Just go to this website and type in your username. It tells you specifically some things you need to do in order to be on par with the division above you for the respective roles. You can also read "how it works" to understand it better.

Gotta work on your last hitting - this is something I didn't focus on early enough when I started playing and now I'm good in trades, but suffering in CS. If you are last hitting effectively and you have a huge CS lead, everything else falls into place.
