Farming

Okay, I don't know what it is. but sometimes let's say i'm adc. I'll always hit every single minion or only miss 1-2 a wave for like 5-6 minutes. But 10 minutes roll around and i have like 50-65 ish farm. Idk if I just stop paying attention as much or what but how can I keep up in farm. It especially gets bad when laning phase ends and everyone has to roam together because I don't want to take teammates cs even though I need farm aswell. Any help for farming?

First, in lane: Pay attention to every minion, constantly check their remaining health and how many of your minions are attacking them. Watch out for harass and also check your minion's health for when to harass your opponent, but that comes secondary to securing your own CS. Missing 2 per wave is only 4/6 though, which would mean in 17 waves (10min) you'd have around 68 (around what you claim to have). Also realize that if you leave lane without pushing it hard and fast first, you'll miss some CS before you get back.

When roaming: Take whatever CS you see if you're a carry. The ADC gets all of the cs generally (a mid laner won't just give you cs but no mid laner is going to whine that you're stealing cs as an adc). When a large collection of minions gathers somewhere, call that you'll take it and go farm it. Be sure to have vision of the enemy team if you're doing this though, nothing is worse than the enemy assassin waiting there in a bush for you and then killing you (not only do you feed a kill but you also then miss all of that CS).

Otherwise, just practice. Last hitting takes practice. A lot. You'll get better over time.

How often do you back? Also, when do you do it? (Where is the wave?)

If you back a lot, you miss farm. So being able to stay in lane longer means getting more farm. Also, when you back, try to push the lane hard into the enemy tower. This makes it so the lane will push back slowly towards your tower so you won't miss as much farm yourself.

In all honesty, farm numbers don't matter straight up (granted more is better than less). What matters more is your farm compared to the enemy ADC's farm. Even if you only have 50 farm at 10 mins, if their farm is at 30, you are crushing them. If you have 50 and they're at 80, then you have some work to do.
