Hey guys and gals. I recently hit level 30. maybe a month ago or so. I started playing ranked. First few games went great, got into silver 5 which was more then I expected. Now after my 2 week long vacation. I came back and I couldnt stop loosing. Currently I am Bronze 1... 7 Wins and 25 Losses. Yes. I know. Terrible.

Now ofcourse being human I was always thinking its my teamates and I also always saw other bronze/ Silver Players blaming it on myself or my teamates. So I guess I took the same road. Lately I stopped doing that though and started trying new things that maybe will spark up my winning again, But it just seems like it hasnt happend whatsoever.

I play mid Varus or Annie Mainly or Jungle Gragas or Nocturn, And have been playing these for a while. Now are there any GENERAL TIPS (Something that would count not only for me but for everyone) That I should start doing? Just something like a starter.

Thanks

Never forget to ward.

Don't wander aimlessly waiting on a minion wave; see if there are objectives to be taken.

Don't mindlessly buy one set of items every game; build to counter your opponent.

Tunnel vision is your worst enemy; always be aware of the minimap.

If you can't win your lane, don't force it; you'll just feed and lose the lane. It's ok to lose your lane.

Really want to improve? Watch professional streamers and LCS. You'll learn tons.

Did I mention warding? Don't forget to do it. Everyone can have 1 Pink and 3 Greens out. You can upgrade your Trinket to help out vision control even more. A pink in the right spot can last the whole game while still spotting their jungler's movement.

Sometimes you just aren't good enough on your favorite champion or role. Don't feel bad if you have to main something else to win Ranked games.

Be familiar with every role on a couple champions for Ranked. You don't want to get forced somewhere or picked/banned out and contribute nothing at all.

Some very general tips would be

Learn to CS, this is the most reliant way to earn gold in the game so focus on it and don't sacrifice a wave just to try to get a kill especially if it would just be a trade 1 for 1.

Watch the mini map, every couple of seconds you should be glancing at your mini map, remember your wards don't mean much if your not looking at the map.

Ward, this goes hand in hand with watching your mini map at first your wards aren't going to mean much but when you get used to looking at your mini they will save your life and the lives of your teammates over and over.

Understand Objectives, this is more advanced but something you will slowly develop a sense for, in general Nexus> Inhib/Baron> Turrets> Dragon> CS> Kills this is the order but it can change based on your team comp, watch the LCS for a better understanding.

Yeah, also try to master characters that either work well in multiple lanes, or at the very least can be used in multiple lanes. Oftentimes, pick order will determine who gets what (which is kinda funny, with counter-picking being so bloody crucial nowadays), mastering a few champions that can cover each role helps a lot.
