Help your jungler help you... A quick rant...

I'm new to the jungle as in I began learning it two days ago. I'm not a master of the jungle, and am not pretending to be. The monster rotation is easy, and covering lanes no bid deal. Knowing when to give away buffs, invade, or push seems common sense. My problem appears to be I can't gank for you, and it's for three simple reasons, three things that you can do to help me help you. (1) Improve your position. (2) Create vision. (3) Be patient. The first is easy to handle, you should know the lay out of the map and your lanes. You know where the gank will need to come from, draw your enemy out, even let him push you and think it's his idea. Give me space to work. The second is easier, ward the zone. If you want a gank, give me vision so I know what I'm walking into and if I even should. Lastly I still have to farm, level, gear up, and watch the entire map. So if I don't come running there is probably a reason. Pinging 27 times helps nobody, and blaming the jungler because you are 0-5 in lane means you did something wrong not your jungler.

thank you, that is all...

Also, it help a ton if you call out where your lane opponent has warded so I don't waste time on a futile gank.

Bonus points if you call out when your lane opponent's flash is down so I know it's an easy gank.

Finally, if you have tp advantage in top lane let me know so I can dive bot and/or start a dragon fight.

Yay for teamwork.

NO, never. Its called solo Q for a reason. The other 4 dont matter so i will treat you like discarded garbage and do my own thing. And when it doesnt work out ill blame you.

I usually play support. When I have a good jungler I often offer to deep ward the enemy jungle after a really good gank. And if he is failing at jungling I will pink ward his own jungle so that he knows when the enemy is in his jungle.

What truly matters to me as a jg

1). calling enemy wards 2). FOLLOWING UP ON MY GANKS 3). calling flash

You may be able to tell what annoys me most about my lanners.

This is perfect. I'm a plat jungle main and this is literally my life. People shove way up lane, don't ward, and complain to me when they get ganked....... I tried to gank you but you were pushing so hard the enemy champ was already under his turret :p

Also another thing is, when they call for gank and start csing..

You as a jungle, ping your movement plans. If you are pinging my lane in a straight line, and I see you are near, I'll start my sequence to hold them in place.

If you are taking a detour, let me know. I'll hold of on the engage.

I don't even play gank oriented junglers anymore because even in Diamond, people are absolute trash at setting up ganks. Better to just farm hard instead of letting them waste my time.

#3 seems to be the biggest problem :/

so many times I'm on my way to a lane, they decide to fight 5 seconds before i get there and then die.

NO GNAKS WTF

I'd agree with you, but my jungler never seems to follow up.

Yeah, I let my lane push in, but my jungler never ganks. I do my best to ward (I'm not walking past a minion wave to take free damage.' And I wait. And wait. And the jungler still never comes.

To be fair, when I jungle, my laners make it shitty for ganks too.

The worst one is #1. You do not know how many times I've pinged for a gank, just for someone to push their lane into the enemy turret. So I either have to tower dive, or have to abandon the gank after the enemy has already seen me. So either my laner runs away and doesn't help my gank or fights too hard and lets the enemy get away before I got there.

Since I can't trust ANYONE to properly set up a gank, I don't even play gank-CC heavy junglers anymore. I pick some more damage based junglers who can either gank or farm it out. Like Udyr or Warwick

I have had ppl die before I have finished my first buff then blame me for not ganking. The best thing you can do as a jungle is play with everyone on mute.

Steel Blossom9/16/2015, 2:15:43 AM1 votes

And then there are junglers who gank at level 3 when you have a wave of 30 minions shoved in under your tower...that is the jungler who will either go in, die, and then blame you, or force you to follow up to a gank that will result in you losing more HP than the enemy laner without forcing anything...

This is my own personal gripe when i'm jungling. When the second blue comes up and i'm pinging you to get it, either get your ass over here asap or at least tell me you don't want it. Also, when you're getting it, please use all your spells.

Jungling in bronze has been a horrible experience for me. It's even worse, because jungle is my weakest position and ganking is my weakest attribute. I rarely do well in the jungle, and I usually get flamed because of it. Personally, I can't stand jungling, but I really respect jungle mains for putting up with all the bullshit people put them through. I'm a mid lane main; I almost never asks for ganks, because I feel like it's my responsibility to win lane and I tend to be really unpredictable and hard to work with.

I already do most of this stuff, but I'll make sure to practice the things I didn't already know in mind for future games.
