One thing i have to say is we have to stop telling people to main one or two champions for each role.
Believe it or not, it is the main reason NA is behind KR/China ( still lots of others, but a major reason) . We need to increase our champion pool, and not be afraid to pick different champions and develop different strategies.
i have never really played one and only one champion, i always play a variety.
although it didnt pay off for a very long time, its starting to pay off now, im gold 3 and climbing fast and i can win with almost every champion since i have played such a variety, i know alot about the game. like, every little detail. ( aka i have no life)
also, something you can possibly include is that if you ever watch The lcs, (worlds), Or high level YT/Twitch players, really pay attention to what they are doing and why. unless you are watching for pure enjoyment, in which case watch something like dunkey or something funny. really try and break down what the high level players are doing and why.
Completely agree with you. Always thought that "main 1-2 champs per role" messaging was a minimum requirement for starting ranked? Obviously the player that can expertly play 20 champs will be better over the long run than a player who is only great with a handful in a given role. I'll re-read my article and make sure that this is clear (Although I don't remember saying anything like that).
Focusing on the "why?" is definitely important. There are a million other things I could have included in that post. Just threw in 10 random ones that my friends hadn't heard of.
Appreciate the feedback! Will use it if I write another post.
Leaving yourself wide open with the title but otherwise good job.
I'm secure enough with my title to leave it up :-)
I don't know that I would fully rely on #6.
I know of plenty of times where the cursor was telling me it was in the bush...then it wasn't.
