Is Vi even good anymore in Ranked, what with the Tank Meta?

Halfway thru Bronze 4 again. Still not getting to Gold.

I use to always go full AD Garen and top lane TF in ranked in B5. Nothing really matters in Bronze unless you can't adapt to the given current situation. So yeah, Vi should be totally fine in ranked.

You can still dive the enemy carry with a click of a button, so because a skill like that is rarely bad I'd say you need to learn when to use it now as opposed to randomly throwing it out like you could get away with before tank jungles became more favorable.

THAT'S A LONG SENTENCE.

Okay, let me elaborate - first I was placed at the bottom of Bronze 5. THEN I carried my way, mostly with Vi, into the top of Bronze 3. Now I've been having loss after loss after LOSS. Something needs to give, and I want answers, or something I can do that gets me riding a winning streak again, on champions that I currently like playing. No garbage answers like "You lost as Janna because you're playing her at Bronze 3/4".

Want more? Look at LoLKing, op.gg, Match History, any of those websites that judge my worth/skill as a player; spell out for me in terms I haven't already thought of for myself in which areas I appear to be lacking, or whatever is holding me back from improving. Want to rage at me that I should not try ranked at all? Go ahead, but that'll probably start me saying things that will get me the 14-day ban, and that's coming from someone who mutes everyone to wall off any incoming toxicity in addition to keeping whatever rage I may feel out of the game itself.

Vi is a frequent player in ranked, from Bronze 5 till about gold 5. Then the skill curve pushes her out, to be replaced by more difficult junglers.

Just because she isn't number one doesn't mean she's not good. Keep in mind that she was one of the top tier junglers, and the tank meta only brought more champions to her level. That's not a bad thing in the slightest.

Besides, her W shreds armor and boosts her attack speed. You can change her build up a little, maybe something like item 3142 item 3153 item 3071 (but not all three at once). As a bruiser, Vi is better taking out assassins and carries than tanks, but that doesn't stop her from dueling tanks. But choose your fights, you can't win every single one.

Is Vi powerful? Yes. Is she the only one that's powerful right now? No. Consider it like the battlefield is leveled, and now every game is a challenge rather than a pubstomp. It's more fun that way.

She is probably in the top 10 junglers, you can play her in most elos, she is one of the only fighter jgs to still be viable.

If you're good with vi you can make it work, especially in bronze.

Vi is actually one of the better fighter junglers against tanks. Her denting blows let's her go toe to toe with most tanks and she has way more early game pressure and pick potential. She can make a big impact in teamfights in picking off a target. She should never ult the tank in a teamfight. Consider helping your ADC take out the tank early in the fight with your denting blows to lower the tank's armor while also dealing good damage due to it being % max health damage. Then turn your attention to the enemy carry, you can ult them fairly easily if they are just a little out of position. Your Q can help make up any distance, by hitting enemies in the back of the enemy team, your Ult effectively becomes an AOE nuke by hitting all other enemies in a line on your way to the backline.

Good luck.
