But to be more serious, sometimes I don't think it is a case of people not wanting to or not thinking about it, but that incessant demand to finish items. They don't understand the concept (and this applies to wards in general) that spending a little bit of gold for vision (or counter warding) can potentially save them more gold then they spent. If one ward saves you from a gank that would potentially deny you 1 minute + of farming then you didn't waste gold. I will admit that it took me over a year of playing this game to buy wards on other champs besides support. Now I usually buy a ward everytime I go back to fountain regardless of whether I play top/mid/jungle/adc... It's not just saving your own butt, it could save your teammates.
