Riot uses Cloudflare to serve some of their internet content. Cloudflare's SSL certificate is expiring today, so Cloudflare needs to replace it with an updated one.

SSL certificates are like a drivers licence for websites: They prove an identity, and they expire. Once they expire, your web browser (Chrome, Internet Exploder, Edge, etc) won't trust the website to be who it claims it is, and that error message is it telling you that.

Again, it's nothing you have to do, cloudflare just needs to get those handled.

Wondering what's going on. My friends and I are getting the same problem. Guess we're not alone.

This is booting me out of queue and making it so I can't join games.

If the error doesn't fix itself within the next days (by Cloudflare updating their cert) just perform some Windows updates if you're running Windumb OS. Certificate checksums are patched monthly into some security patch called KBxxxxxxxxx (where x are digits).

Mac shouldn't have this issue at all and on Linux it's enough to select a Wine version that got the certificate update (IF it is a server sided problem).
