Why Can't I Carry a Losing Game as Vi?

Last two games as Vi, I lost. D:

And while it would be easy to blame the lagging Jax or the rage-quitting Kalista in the last of these two, I still feel rotten that I wasn't able to turn that game around. What do I do, assuming a solo queue player?

And in general, how's my performance on Vi reflect to you? Do I not farm enough, or gank too much? Am I using the right runes, masteries, skill orders, and/or items? What about jungle routes? Who should I gank for/against in lanes? How do I as Vi seek to close out a game regardless of the rest of the team's performance (assuming that they may be unable to followup on a dive into a teamfight)? Vi be mah gurl, love how she handles and whales on the enemy - at least, when she's ahead. Recently finding my win rate with her dropping, though.

More about myself:

  • Vi Sejuani Volibear are the junglers I currently use in ranked. Vi was first, then her ban rate skyrocketed after JarvanIV's early game got nerfed. Sej was next, then she got the banhammer, so I found success on Volibear. Currently I'm looking at Skarner and I like how he settles, but am still working him out in normal; same questions I asked of Vi apply to him, too.

  • Currently stuck in Bronze 3; placed in Bronze 5 at the start, skyrocketed through that and Bronze 4, now stalled out. Ended Season 4 at the bottom of Bronze 4.

  • Goal/desire is to get to at least Gold 5 for the Victorious skin at the end of the season, though this may waver depending on who gets chosen to represent it. Not looking into being the very best like no one ever was here.

they were simply too heavy not all games are winnable

in those cases, I think you need a champ that carries even harder than all of those you stated the problem is that they arent the team annihilating tier champ ;l

Build more damage. Solo q games are very unorganized and heavy AD vi can be played like a bursty assassin that can't be peeled. Someone face checks a full damage vi? Instantly dead with fully charged Q. Then you ult the ADC in the subsequent 4v5 and 2 shot them.

Yeah, it might lose you some games that drag on to 50+ minutes cuz you get melted by an ADC when everyone is grouped 5v5. But most solo q games can be won, or at least set up to be so one sided by 30 minutes that it doesn't matter. Until you get really high elo, it's not worth playing people like Lee Sin or Vi as tanky.

Despite what the guy above me said, you can annihilate a team as Vi. Just don't walk up straight in vision into a 5v5 and expect to do it unless your entire team is ahead.

I am not a vi main, but from what I know vi isn't a champ that can't engage if her team is behind. Just like that other engaging champs Thresh Leona. Also them supports.....
