Silver 2 wukong main, trouble winning, any advice?

I have been playing league since season 3, possibly invested a good 3000 games in normals/ranked etc. I didn't play much ranked in season 3 or 4, perhaps 80 games max. I really want to get into ranked this season, as a top lane main. I cant seem to get a hang of it, my mains are wukong and lissandra, emphasis on the wukong.

I keep getting my butt whooped by the likes of Irelia, Rumble, Nasus, Gnar and such in top lane. I've been playing Wukong since late season 3 and am pretty efficient at him most of the time. However this season just isn't working out for me in top lane.

TL:Dr. Silver 2 Wukong main top, having serious trouble with current meta champs like Rumble, Irelia, Jax. any meta related or general advise for top lane as Wukong is helpful. xD

P.S: I already know the "learn a new champ, wukong sucks this season" thing. so plz avoid if possible.

Try Malphite, hes strong and also Maokai or Riven. All three are strong and quite easy to pick up, exception of riven. Shes a little more complicate dthan first sought out when buying and using her.

nasus, rumble, darius, irelia are all the hardest matches for wukong so winning these lanes will be pretty much impossible unless the enemy screws up majorly.

i personally like wukong jungle much better than top because top lane i feel like he needs to play too passive in most lane matchups, but if top wu is your thing then just start flask and learn to farm under tower

If u r a top main wu u should look i what makes him weak. Against a Irelia u should understand that she is only strong after a few items and lvls and she will focus on stuning u then going for a attack also her ult is focused on true damage so to counter it get health like warmorgs. Against a ramble he will start q first, his build path is simple at best he will go magic pen. then ap with some tank stats so against that rush cowl and armor pen. Against Nasus in the early game he damage is focus on ad so a good start against him is cloth with pots. As for gnar hes build path is similar to Irelia which bokr, triforce with sunfire or omens after. Dont know if this helps. I would hav to watch u play against these champ in game to know how they react to u. If u want I could duel u as nasus top so u could get practice against him, but at the time I dont hav Irelia, Rumble or gnar

I would highly recommend roaming as it is something wukong is really good at. If you lose lane, just focus on creating pressure elsewhere. No point in just sitting in a losing lane when you could be making plays elsewhere (gonna want teleport to stop any hard pushes by the enemy laner in response though). Oh, and be a boss with your clone. Can't count the number of times I've had people blow big spells on it (good way to avoid the Irelia stun).

Try playing more aggressive, try taking ignite. Sometimes people get a little confused if you go hyper aggressive in lane and will start to play super passive

Are you series ??!! :DDD You lose vs Irelia as Wukung ? I never lost such a lane . All u have to do is go in with offtank mast+runes. Use ignite + flash. Get long sword first with hp and mana potions. make sure u don't die early so play passive if u don't have vision so u don't get ganked. Don't recall till u have 1000+ gold to get a giant belt. Then u can play agressive if u have vision . most irelia players start with trinty or botrk most of them start with offence items to win lane. So how they gonna win . poking alit won't make u win . she have heal u don't . she can last hit easly u don't she have stun and ranged spell u don't So if she is building offensive Try to get first item sunfire cap as fast as u can ! YES and fight her play too agresive . Even if u get ganked u will win ur lane if u get sunfire fast without any death. but don't get cocky and dive . keep poking her max ur E first because u will be better in long fights than her with sunfire. never cancel ur ulti to hit other spells except E to catch enemies because even if ur ulti does small damage it's good with sunfire cap. That's all
