How to play Sion a a support

So i have been playing the new Sion quite a bit recently. I've tried him top, jungle, and support. Support has been the most successful and fun way to play him, since he is is so team-reliant in combat.

Playstyle: Playing Sion as a support means you have two jobs: harass and peel. You should be getting and maxing your E first, with your W second for bigger shields and early health stacking. Spam your fus-ro-dah into the enemy carry or support for a low cost, high damage harass that should keep them back. If they dive, make sure they don't stick to your adc. Use your Q to zone (it doesn't have to hit, just scare) and your W to stay in the fight.

Ability order: E,W,E,Q,E,R,E,W,E,W,R,W,W,Q,Q,R,Q,Q You want the base damage on your E as soon as possible, and a larger shield will help you shrug off harass.

Items: Relic shield: Gives, you hp, hp regen, and a passive that lets you get some farm without gimping the carry. Spellthief's edge does not apply it's gold when you hit champions with a minion, so don't go for that one. Amulet coin is ok, but you don't need the mana regen.

Zeke's Herald: Aura AD and lifesteal is great since you shouldn't be doing anything without a team. It also helps your ADC win lane phase trades, and helps out everybody during teamfights. On top of that, you get hp and some CDR, so a great first item to rush.

Sightstone: Obvious reasons to have this as a support. You can skip this if you don't need vision, but that scenario is very unlikely.

Swifty boots: With no gapclosers aside from your ult, movespeed is essential for success as Sion. It also allows your passive to keep up with people better, but don't expect it to make you impossible to run from.

Ravenous Hydra: Being in the thick of combat, this item will let you spread the pain. At this point, you should be out of the lane phase, so this is where you start building for teamfights. You can also use the active during your passive for extra lolz.

Zephyr: This item is like a triforce on Jax. MS, tenacity, AS, AD, and CDR are all great stats for Sion to have. Recommend this before hydra if lane phase is lasting longer than usual, or if you find yourself in toe to toe duels more often than team fights.

Frozen Mallet: This is a great item for Sion. It gives you a slow to keep up with runners, health to survive a fight and increase your shield potency, and ad for more damage.

Locket: This isn't a bad item since you should be with your team most of the time, and the extra shield is nice to have.

Tips: Stay with teamates. Sion needs a team to be effective, and you are a boon to them. Don't be afraid to take a blitz grab for them or take that ashe arrow to the face for them. Protect them, and when you ult into their group, they will reward you for it.

During sieges, fall back from the tower. When they are weaker or start pushing out, ult in. More distance traveled means more damage, and it baits them into thinking it's a 4v5.
