AD akali

Ok so ever since akali got updated alot of people have been saying she got nerfed hardcore. But I'm thinking mabye shes just an ad champ now instead of ap. Since both of her passives scale with ad now, she can get an insane amount of spell vamp and still be quite bursty. I usually build hextech revolver first for the extra spell vamp and then trinity force since you do need some ap for discipline of force to be effective, after that its all dependent on the game. But I'm really just looking for feedback from more experienced/knowledgeable players how could this be improved and could this actually be effective, or do people in my elo just suck (silver IV).
