Just know that YOU are the only reoccuring factor in every single one of your games, and take responsibility for you mistakes.

Play to learn, not to win.

Watch your opponents moves, their placements, see what works, and try it out yourself. Learn what you can from your opponents instead of just stomping them with what you think is the best - you might learn something that could carry yourself later.

Play what you know. Practice one or a few champions(probably 1 for every role that you like, and get decent at a backup in case they get stolen) Don't worry too much about counterpicks. Stay positive, don't argue with your teammates. if a teammate or somebody is being annoying, make use of the mtue button. I personally make extensive use of the mute button, and do what I think to be best in the game. Obviously it's not always the right decision, but knowing what to do when will jsut come with practice.

When I got to level 30, I did exactly what you did, I jumped right into rankeds expecting to climb the ladder. I got Silver 4 off of my promos and found myself in every game surrounded by flamers, trolls and afks. After 20 or so games, I got sick of it because I realized that I was not having fun, and that's why I play games. I went back to normals and was playing there for 60 games+ over the course of 1-2 months. I decided to go and try rankeds again, and I found myself to have much better success than in the past. So I suggest to not play ranked just yet, find a few champions in different roles and learn them. You will improve naturally.

If you're really desperate to get better now, then go into a game alone, take no runes and masteries, take an ap champion, and just farm with your auto attacks. And don't play any games until you're getting at least 70 cs by the end of 10 minutes. In normal games, you will obviously be against someone else and wont be able to concentrate soley on farming, but if you can even 10-15 cs more than your opponent without giving any kills, then you will have a 200-300 gold advantage over your laner. Meaning either more damage, more vision, more tankyness, more utility or whatever your champion provides.

Practice in normal games, play with higher level players who can give you tips and such, and what i did that really helped out in the earlier parts where watching streams of higher elo players that explain what and why they don things. Besides all that just playing more you will improve.

You choose a role and practice that role until you get better at it

The most important thing is to realize that you are the only person you can control in a ranked game. Your play and behavior is the only thing you can influence.

My advice to you is to continue to play normals and download lol replay software like "SkinSpotlight Replay." Watch your replays with a very critical eye and take notes. Its amazing how many mistakes you will see yourself make that you didn't notice during the game. I've doubled my KDA and increased my win percentage by over 20% mainly because I watch my replays (watching LCS has really helped me improve as well.)

Start playing ranked once you have a decent variety of champions. I would say at least 3 or 4 per role. Also it is best to have a variety of ap and ad champions for different roles. (annie, xerath, zed, talon for example in maid lane) You will also probably want champions with different power spikes and different things in their kit that will help you match up with your team's comp. An example would be like when most members of your team are major team fighters and you have the role as jungler. You probably dont want to play rengar who is meant to isolate one target with his ult. Another way to lost less matches is to go back to the basics and look at patch notes. You can see when certain champions are getting major buffs, item changes, and nerfs. Also the basics would be things like map awareness, cs, timing on abilities, when to go in for trades, and rotations.

Also, the thing about losing 9 matches in a row isn't something to be too worried about. You'll have different major winning and losing streaks.

pro tip from a diamond player: learn to chill and stop forcing yourself to "do" anything. you dont have to. gold comes to you by itself through either jungle minions or waves pushing into your towers and enemies will force themsleves to die needlessly more often than not. stay alive, chill, get gold and take free kills from noobs who think they gotta do plays. you will learn to understand the game much better throug that.

League is just like anything else in life. If you want to get better, you have to work hard at it.

You need to look up guides online, read articles and watch videos on how to improve your play, and practice a lot. This will make you a much better player.
