So, I've been playing Eve top a lot recently (when my teammates don't go crazy about it), and have been doing pretty well. The problem is I don't like playing Eve tanky, and want her to be more of an assassin. I created the build that I linked here as a life stealing build, with a lot of HP. Please take a look and let me know if you think it could work.

Currently, I rush Sheen, and then build both TF and Randuins simultaneously. I just don't want to play her tanky as she's not a bruiser, so I'm trying to go more damage heavy while trying to survive with life steal. I'll still rush Sheen, but after that I'm not quite sure what order to go in, probably depends on the matchups.

Play another champion and get better results. Eve is trash.

The above is great if you reach full build, but it does not do much while incomplete unless you are ahead.

Yeah, the Nashor's Tooth needs all of that AP. I get the feeling that AP isn't as strong as AD for Eve, especially with her E. Not to mention what you said, you'd need all of those items. And with that AP build, she's extremely squishy. It's hard to get a full build with Eve, since she's not a carry, she's not gonna get a ton of gold.

You can check my match history, I've rarely gotten close to a full build with her. My matches usually end too early.

It is actually fairly similar to AD, the power spikes just come later because most AP items scale with more AP. I alternate between the two, though you need to chose before the match as AP needs masteries that are dead weight to really scale well (Spellblade and Archmage).

E still has 100% AP scaling, even if it does Physical damage. Hence I opt for raw AP and CDR over penetration (other than Abyssal, which I get for the MR + AP).

I don't really wanna do any math, so it's hard for me to figure out what does more damage. The E by itself obviously does more damage with an AP build, but with a AD-heavy build, doesn't the attack speed from the E make up for the loss of the direct damage from E? It's hard to figure out which one is better, they might both be viable (which is good).

I tend to go hybrid build, with more focus on AD (if you look at the link I posted, my runes and masteries are for hybrid). So I could potentially go either during the middle of a match.

I feel they are the same, and in that thread someone who goes AD jungle Eve notes they have a similar KDA to someone that usually goes AP.

I'm curious, why toplane? I can understand not going jungle right now; I've seen first hand how rough that is :( That said, mid seems like it would be a much better fit for her. Using Eve top means you are giving up a huge part of her kit. Stealth isn't much use if you are pinned top and not able to roam.

Take TP, roam after each back and then TP back to lane.

Yeah I think mid woud be good too. I just feel sometimes that I shouldn't take up a mid slot from an AP carry (even though Zed does that). I might start trying out mid. I have ganked mid from top though after I push my lane. Her W is good for helping me get to and from the lane pretty quickly.

Yeah, Sheen first is pretty mandatory. I prefer the mobility boots so that I can go from lane to lane super fast. I'm still playing around with my build for her. The thing that I like is that there are actually a lot of options for items for her.

My main jungler is Evelynn but in terms of laning top it's not much different. item 1001 item 3144 item 1011 item 3153 item 3025 item 3155 is standard base then from there you adapt. At least that is what I find most successful. You could probably change this build around to suit your style. With the upcoming Eve buff I think that muramana Eve might be a thing.

I hate to say it though, Evelynn is only viable as a bruiser atm. I wish her assassin style still worked.

Muramana will be worse after the change, because her mana regen from passive will be worse. Her E already apply the toggle because it is single target.

By the way, quick question about Spellblade ability on TF and LB. The new update will add the on hit effects to Eve's E. Would Spellblade affect both of the attacks from the E, or just the first one?

It will only hit once, but you will not have to wait to get an auto in. I recall mention somewhere on the boards that someone tried it on PBE, and it applies spell blade to the second hit from E (which is better if you also have item 3153 ).

Pardon my ignorance, but why would it be better if Spellblade is applied on the second hit if you have BotRK? Is it because only the first hit triggers BotRK?

% Current HP damage. So if item 3057 is applied to the first hit, then item 3153 will do less damage on the second hit since they have less HP left after the first.
