armor marks and armor quints for your tanky supports (and any pure-tank top necessities). Health seals as you mentioned for sure. CDR glyphs can be considered, as well as possibly AP glyphs if you don't need the mana regen and want to forego magic resist against an AD mid.

Finally, maybe AS quints (AD marks with AS quints is more efficient than AD quints and AS marks - would be for ADCs and maybe Junglers).

Would getting the Health seals only be beneficial if I also got armor marks/quints? I'll definitely add AS quints for sure. As for CDR, on my AP mids, I generally build my CDR off itemization. I get Morellos on all my mids, for instance, and I can always grab a blue buff

I've seen Imaqtpie run AD marks, Health Seals, 2 AS Quints, 1 Armor Quint, and AS/MR Glyphs (8.5AD/72HP/11.5%AS/6.7MR/4.2Armor) on his ADC at times, but recently it looks like he has gone back to the norm (AD marks/AS Quints/Armor/MR).

Perhaps 1 Armor Quint if you're running Health seals?

Some people outright prefer health seals over armour in all cases.

In general, I'd want to have health seals for any non-ad Lane match up, and for any ap heavy team. So if you're mid against a mage, health seals beat armour seals.

I would also say that a tanky support can run say, ms quints if you like to roam, and then armour marks and health seals.

I'd say your priorities should be:

  1. AS quints
  2. Health seals
  3. Armour marks
  4. Armour quints
  5. Anything else mentioned or that you find interesting.

I'm also putting my money where my mouth is, I'll be buying 4 rune pages and prioritizing the same purchases as well (I currently have 2 rune pages with MS quints on both, magic pen/ flat armour/flat magic resist on ap, ad/flat armour/scaling mr on ad). I'm also considering some of the runes you already have, but I don't main support so they're lower on my list.

Health Regen quints might be a good pick-up. They work very well for champion with strong late-games and comparatively weak early games and, if you have another source of sustain, they can make you pretty much impossible to push out of lane. I like running them on Irelia, Trundle, and Mundo in the top lane and Leona, Alistar, and Thresh as supports. They also work quite well on Soraka, to offset the health cost on her heal.

Scaling Health Seals are a nice pickup when you are against a magic-damage opponent in lane for extra durability.

Attack Speed and Armor quints are pretty useful.

Scaling CDR Glyphs work very well on many champions who don't need MR early in the game or don't typically buy CDR items even though they scale well with them.

This is something I have been questioning a bit. Right now I have Generic AD an AP pages that both have penetration in their respective pages. The delema I see is when I noticed the lane Minions no longer have any Resistances. and pen does not effect resistances beyond zero (according to the wiki)

If this is all true, then these Penetration marks would have no effect in helping CS. with this said, should I replace the penetration marks? and with What?

Yea, if youre having problems CSing, then pen runes wont do you any good, but they do still let you do more damage to enemy champs. I take armor pen for my jungle pages, and AD/AS for my ADCs. Like some people said in here, it seems the best combo is AD marks and AS quints
