Question about MMR and how it affects your LP/Ranking Division

Hey guys!

I'm a silver 3 (now recently s4) elo player, but I have a serious question. Why is that I go on amazingly long win streaks, but get 'elo hell' MMR (Acc. to Op.GG)?

Eventually I lose tons of ranked games after it. Can someone explain this?
