Is it TOO big? (champion pool) help:)

So I am now lvl 30 and working my way through provisionals. I am curious about my champion pool, I am not sure if I have too many or not.

Current roster looks like this-

TOP- Volibear / Darius / Sion / Renekton

Jungle- Volibear / Nidalee / Sion

Mid- Nidalee / Katarina

Support- Thresh / Leona / Morgana

ADC- sivir

I am curious if this is balanced enough, I feel that i need to play less champions but i don't know ;/

Honestly, you can stand to gain a few more champions if you plan on being an all around player.

No. It's fine. Borders on too big. You really want like two champions to actually main, and the rest should be fillers in case you don't get your role.

The answer to that question depends entirely on your answer to this one: Are you able to play them all relatively well?

While it is recommended you main a role, you should also have 2-3 champions you can play relatively well in all other lanes. That being said, you're looking pretty good as far as champion pool goes. You can't really have TOO many champions, as long as you can play them all well.

It's better to play 2 champions REALLY well than 6 champions pretty mediocre.

I would add at least one adc that you can play, because if Sivir is picked away, you have nothing. I don't think that's too small, per say... It's got some overlap that I don't think is helpful. For instance, Voli AND Sion in the jungle is kind of redundant. Plus, what if a more AD fighter jungler is needed? They are both pretty much tank. Whatever position you are best in, I would add variety. Unless you main support. You've got good variety there.

Being competitive in this game means that you have an understanding of every champions game play and the role in which they are playing that specific game. Get to studying, my friend.
