Can someone explain to me why its too much to just enjoy a game? its like every game i play in solo queue there is a person who doesnt do well and trolls because of it. Too many sociopaths in the community and i dont know why. They die twice and all hell breaks loose. i always mute them, but knowing youre going to lose 20 lp because of a teammate tantrum makes my want give up climbing the ladder all together
i suggest stop trying to play that particular game mode if it upsets u so much... i found when i play the game modes i acctually enjoy, no matter what, then my enjoyment of the game as a whole goes up....
in other words, what the hell is a silly rank worth to you, if you have no fun in obtaining it?
Every troll is just a player who has been hurt one too many times, even if they aren't willing to admit it. Rather than own up to their emotions and let them go in a healthy manner they turn to nihilism and try and drag everyone down with them. There are only two ways to deal with trolls:
Do not engage: People troll because they are stuck in an egotistical power drama, all they want is attention and they are willing to go to extreme lengths to get it. Just like a 2 year old throwing a tantrum the best thing to do is simply be silent and let it run it's course.
Join in: I'm not kidding, one of the best games I ever played involved a Sion and Gragas duo queue who decided to troll. By some miracle nobody on my team cared and instead we all decided to join in the fun! They made stupid plays and we all ran with it, crying tears of joy the entire team because we were CRUSHING the enemy team despite having "trolls" on our team. Once you let go and realize that fun is more powerful than nerd rage, you might find yourself surprised at how enjoyable a game can become. After all if your entire team is trolling together then you are all PLAYING TOGETHER.
