Since the second turrent in SR provides a shield, Thresh can toss to junglers a latern, while the jungler is having the shield from turrent. This can provide a no damage hit from monsters. Although the shield wont last long but it decreases the damage taken as a jungler.

EndlessSorcerer1 votesThis isn't really necessary after the first clear. For this to work on the first clear, Thresh has to start with Lantern, which leaves bot lane at a disadvantage. Kinda neat, but not at all practical.
