Anyone on east coast transfered to LAN?

So i got wind that east coast ping is infinitely better on the LAN server, since it is in Florida instead of Oregon and all.

Has anyone tried transferring an account there and had a more than positive experience with csing, and climbing ranked and such?

I have played a few games on LAN with a different account and let me tell you, the responsiveness is night and day. I have 35-40 ping constant as opposed to 95-110 on the NA servers. I can actually last hit minions that are close to death before friendly minions aggro to them and kill them. Just buying items in the store and walking around is even night and day more responsive.

I am just wondering if it is worth ponying up the RP to transfer my main account there to be more competitive in ranked.

if you can get over the language barrier it is fine. Also they lock certain queues at night and don't even have others (like dominion)

It is easier to climb there but not because of your ping and such being better, but because if you play champs like leblanc it is easier to catch people out of position and snowball.

I am just interested in the ping difference. The several games I have played so far are just unbelievably night and day. I can actually tell whether or not i am late or early last hitting, and can switch targets for autos to actually get them. I can't do that at all on NA. I cant even do the Alistar W/Q combo on NA because of the delay. I tried it at 110 ping with a macro just to see, and I barely got it to do it then by super fine tuning it by 1 millisecond at a time till it worked.

The language barrier isn't a problem. All of the stuff is in English if you change like 5 digits of code in a program file.

go to > C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\system\locale.cfg > change it to "en_US" (no quotes) while the client is closed (open it with notepad to change it)

the only thing that will be in Spanish is the alert for maintenance and such, and whatever people type in chat.

The transfer is like 2800 RP or so. I just wanted to get opinions before paying $25 just to transfer servers where most speak spanish and all my friends list doesn't work.

As a latin american user, the language barrier as someone else mentioned is a pretty big deal. It's the same case as if a group of french, spanish, chinese, etc., goes to NA to play and well, you don't understand shit. I feel it's like a bit unfair for people who only speak spanish (our local language for LAN) to not be able to communicate because of people who transfer here either for better ping or smurfing; even though a good number of ingame terms are the same in both languages (like blue, feed, baron).
