Neat Tip for all Sivir players.

Absorbing an attack with her Spell Sheild can sometimes also save her allies! A prime example, and truthfully where I discovered this, was me and my Sivir pushed very far past bot's 1st turret. Enemy Ziggs mid sent his Ult bomb towards us, which would have killed me and otherwise left Sivir debilitated if not also dead. Sivir activated her Spell Sheild, and as the bomb landed, it just....

PEWF

No AoE splash dmg. Just. Gone. It went away completely , and saved me. I was most impressed and grateful! And thought that was a neat thing to know and be aware of and wanted to share this with everyone.

That... may be a bug. Sivir's shield isn't consistent with that pattern when resolving Aoe effects.

Group.
Point your mouse in the direction of the enemy team
Press R
Enjoy your elo.

That's a bug. Her spell shield isn't suppose to do that.

Although that is most likely a bug with that specific ultimate, in general I can see where you are getting at. I'm actually going to have to test this on Nami's ultimate myself :p.

A similar event happened in the LCS this weekend.

I forget which match, but an orianna tried to ult three members of the opposing team, but the sivir's spell shield negated it.

There was a sion on the enemy team and I'd always just walk into his ult and shield it. I'm like, thanks for the mana bb

How does it interact with Bard's ult? Let's say Sivir and her support - Braum - and an enemy fed Annie are in the ult's radius. If Sivir's shield made it go PEWF wouldn't that also stop Annie being item 3157 ed?

I think that should be a bug, It's not an AOE Bomb spellshield-canceller... lol it should affect everyone else in radius, just not sivir...
