I'm so salty right now (A guide to using Evelynn's E to carry (not really but kind of))

Posting this under tips and tricks so people newbies who want to jg know how Evelynn works on a base level despite this not being meant to help at all. I'm just salty.

So I just want to point out that in One for All I just got done playing a team of Evelynn vs Zilean. Evelynn should have won AND WE WERE because of two things. Either of the hydras + MR. But no, the recommended build suggests that you build HEXTECH GUNBLADE AND BORK.

I cannot tell you, as an Eve main, how USELESS that item is on her. It's active is more or less the same as B.O.R.K so there's nothing special about it other than it's a hybrid item and it gives you spell vamp. Except that Eve's ONLY SPELL THAT CAN USE SPELL VAMP GETS IT REDUCED TO 1/3RD EFFECTIVENESS BECAUSE IT'S AN AOE SPELL. The same goes for her ult which is more or less useless for damage unless you're going full ap (which is a terrible idea). Not only that but it gets the 1/3rd effectiveness from spell vamp as well, making it completely pointless. Yet it's still in the recommended build, sadly. Life steal is way better and even then you really shouldn't have much on her that does that. You can if you're messing around and you build Ravenous Hydra (which isn't recommended since it's better to build her as an ad or ap bruiser (preferably ad with the black cleaver and titanic hydra). Why? Because Evelynn's E (Ravage) applies on hit effects twice. This dictates that:

1. It doesn't use spell vamp as the definition of spell vamp is anything that doesn't modify a basic attack/proc on hit effects (according to the wiki) and Eve's E either does the latter or both.
2. ALL hydra AoE passives will hit twice in one ability.

PLUS the target takes the extra damage from each of the two hits because it's an ability + plus the hydra damage and if you auto cancel INTO the E and then AFTERWARDS with either Hydra active, you just won.

BUT NO THEY BUILT THE ITEM YOU LITERALLY SHOULD BUILD NEVER ON HER FIRST (AND BORK WHICH ISN'T EVEN USEFUL HERE BECAUSE IT'S ZILEAN AND YOU DON'T NEED IT)

I was nuking the entire enemy team from max to half with my q spam and the auto attack thing with Ravenous Hydra that I mentioned above. It was fun. And then we surrendered at 20 because the team couldn't take the perma slow/stun that zilean can do despite Eve's W removing slows. Sure if they focused you that wouldn't matter because they could just slow you afterwards but if someone comes in from the side they could just nuke the zileans because Eve's damage is insane sometimes. But no, Riot doesn't know how to build their own champions. Great.
