I feel not worthy of Top lane...Suggestions?

To be honest I hardly ever go Top.

I have Wukong, Olaf, Irelia, Riven, Aatrox, Shen, Gangplank, Garen, Gnar, Pantheon, and Trundle. NOT ALOT OF TOP LANERS! EDIT: And Warwick but I see him more like a jungler. I mean I also see Wukong as a Jungler but equally a Top too.

If I go top I am most likely to suck and possibly die which I have many times before. Sometimes I chicken out and just stay away from champ and barely farm at all. Or I just stay under my turret cause maybe I'm super duper scared. ( ONE of the reasons I need to work with cause this is a problem. )

Anyway I would like to be open to more roles I don't play a lot. What if I am forced to go Top in a normal or ranked game? I need to learn!

Try Nasus, farm safely under tower with your until your jungler comes to gank. Build tank and eat towers.

I think the best way to learn how to play a lane is if you make it fun!! Try to pick a fun champ to carry with, one with a low ban rate and high win rate if you must... I would recommend Riven, which does not have a high win rate in particular, but is one of the most high skill capped and fun champ to play with. The amount of plays you can make is unbeliveable. Your hardest counters can even sometimes get outplayed, the hardest champ to play against is Darius, renekton and garen but you can outplay garen and renekton IF you time your skills correctly. There are unlimited amounts of combos with riven. I would suggest you get him and get some lessons from someone. If you have any questions about riven add me! "seley"

You sound like me and mid lane and ADC. I'm horrible in those 2 positions. I can still go mid occasionally but with heimerdinger and the matchup has to be right (I counter them) or it will be a rough time. If you are that passive in lane I would say get Nasus and start Frozen Heart, and then farm Qs under turret, and then work to get to 40% CDR and a full tank build you'll be unkillable.

I would recommend trying Gangplank out; he's never banned, and lots of fun. He can be built many ways too: if you're going try-hard, you'll build him like a tanky bruiser (static shyv, triforce, + tank items); if you want to go full ham, get a buttload of crit-chance runes and go full crit-plank; it is hilarious.

Important: not many people know this, but GP wins EVERY level 1 fight. Use this to your advantage and try to fight at level one.

Important #2: if you last hit a minion with GP's Q, it refunds mana and gives you extra gold
