How do I get out of Bronze?

So yes, I have been playing this game for 2 years, (3 years now, but i took some breaks) and I am still in b5-b4. I know Im not very good, at least not good enough to be in gold. I know I rage form time to time, bringing my team down, but I have gotten much better. But what I dont understand, Is people tell me my stats are horrible and that I should stay in bronze. I just think that the skill difference between silver and bronze really isnt that big of a gap, and I was wondering what im missing here. And I know that my cs doesnt rank me in bronze, at least s5. like I said, the skill difference really isnt that big of a gap, as I have played with a friend in platinum. The only difference being that he has more knowledge about items, champion abilities and updates than I do. Sure, his cs is better, but only by 50 minions or so. (He thinks I should be in at least silver) And I sometimes beat him in 1v1s. Im sorry for the long post, I just really want to know how to get out of bronze.

If you want to get out of bronze then be a one trick pony, this is a sure way out of bronze. Since you don't have much knowledge on the items and abilities then learn a champion and try To learn everything about that champion and learn the items that go with that champion. But if this is too boring then I would suggest playing normals until you do pretty good and win most of your normal games then you should start ranked and it should be pretty easy.

his cs is better "only by 50 minions"? what?

that's like 3 kills worth of cs, lmfao.

you're in bronze because you're shit, so just insert all the usual generic advice here about cs'ing better, warding better, trading better in lane and map awareness

Buy wards. I'm sure you have plenty to work on, but according to your freelo.gg ratings, your biggest weakness is wards. Buy them.

The fact that you've played this game for 2-3 years and still don't grasp the importance of basics such as warding probably has a direct correlation as to why you're not improving past a Bronze level.

In order to climb, you must identify and improve in your areas of weakness.

I'm only Gold V but if you wanted to 1v1 and let me see where you can improve I'd be happy to help. Add me in game if you're interested

I would honestly just say improve on CS and be flexible. When you play support(I assume your last ranked as morgana was support), try starting with spellthief instead of Dorans and buying a sightstone. In bronze, a smaller majority of them ward, which makes you susceptible to an advantage if you do(hence sightstone). The general gold support items help with managing mana much better than a Dorans, as Dorans generally require you to CS.

50cs is huge 50*20 = 1000 gold that means he in theory is more than 3 kills ahead of you in gold thats quit a lot. So try to improve on cs.

Looking at your op.gg profile, I think you should improve on your CSing. Last-hitting minions give more gold, which gives items to help win the game with. Also, I'm seeing that you've been dying quite a bit in your games, try to stay with your team and not get caught out. The only reason you should be dying is if an objective can be secured or something of the sort. Lastly, I think you should improve on your warding. Warding will allow you to see where the enemy is, which is very important because it can allow you to secure an objective. I think you should record your games with replay.gg or op.gg so we can see where you can improve as a player.

If you want a sure fire way, pick jungle and play Yi. Farm it up till you at least get level 6 and Devourer. If you see an enemy over half the lane go there, ult and smite and you'll probably kill them. Prioritize getting sated and bork, after that build things like Omen/Banshees/Frozen Mallet (if you can pocket the gold). Enough damage to sweep people and enough defenses to live, and likely no one will counter jungle or take advantage of your lack of lane pressure.
