So I play Pantheon jungle quite a bit and enjoy purchasing some magic resistance penetration to get some crazy damage with well placed ultis, but I've been wondering a bit about abyssal scepter. To my knowledge it applies it's -mr (magic resistance) via aura. Now my question is does abyssal scepter apply it's aura before my ulti deals damage?
A way to test this if you have friends is to go into a custom game(you need at least two additional players), have one be an enemy and one ally. farm to level 6, buy an abyssal scepter and have the enemy stand in the river and tank your ult. THEN, have your ally get an abyssal scepter and stand near him and have him tank your ult(making sure that nobody buys any other items between tests and nobody levels up). Because the auras don't stack, if you do more damage when your ally is there, then you know that the abyssal scepter aura applies after ult damage. I don't have time to test this, but this would be my recommendation for testing.
