Double standards, how do I play Nidalee, and how lane vs a Tryndamere? HELP A SILVER SCRUBLORD

Well first off, I'd like to say that I absolutely SUCK with Nidalee. I never played cougar lady during her FOTM period (AD Nid top was quite BS back then), nor even before her rework. But I decided I want to try her out more recently, idk why.

Her skillshot spear pretty hard to land (Well, for a silver scrub like me at least) and the hunt mechanic is kinda weird since I need to go through multiple hunt rotations (2-4) in order to kill the average enemy (i.e., a bruiser aatrox or a garen). And I really don't know an ideal build for her! Should I go AP bruiser? AD bruiser with some magic pen? Or just full AD or AP?

I was vs a Tryndamere top, a champion which I absolutely hate because, in my eyes, he's so one sided! Either he's fed enough to 1v5 or he loses a duel to a support champion (remember, silver elo). I can't figure out how to go against him in lane; he ignores my human AA's, builds up fury, then spins, triple crits, reduces my AD by a metric crapton so I can't fight back, and wow BOOM I'm dead :(.

My jungler was a madstone Udyr who ganked top after I was 0/2 and after trynd took the first tower. We toughed up the barbarian king pretty hard but he had ulti and spun through the purple side 2x golem wall. I flashed after him but missed my spear, but in my defense it was a blind shot in the fog of war. Udyr, expecting me to be RF Legendary said (all text is written down on a notepad, but I corrected the grammar and spelling errors to make it more legible): "I am never ganking top again for you Nid you're so bad"

Me: "yeah I know I'm bad with nid" "never played her up until a week ago and that was 3 games only" "I'm only silver and main vayne bottom"

Him: "gold 4 everything main" "stfu noob"

Me: "sorry but I'm not as good as you"

Him: "ofc not lol retard"

Now, I had a frozen heart and ninja tabis but tryndamere was still critting for a lot of my HP with a statik shiv and two longswords. And I couldn't stop him from taking the inner tower and then finally the inhib tower. Time to introduce Lucian, our adc who was level 8 by ~30 min mark who was 0/6 and constantly DC'ed for 3-4 minutes at a time and played for a short time before DC'ing again (I was 2/3 that time, I managed to roam mid and get a double kill on fizz and lee sin with the help of ezreal, but I died of ignite).

Lucian: "nidalee shut the fuck up" "piece of shit Bronze trash" lolking'ed him after the game, Bronze 4, 83 LP XD "go feed in africa where trash like u is accepted" THE HYPOCRISY IS REAL

Me: "is flaming gonna help me play better?"

Lucian: "no but its **** hilarious making fun of retards like you"

Me: "sigh"

And then he DC'ed for a final time and never came back. And the funny thing is, Udyr never mentioned a negative word about lucian's toxicity towards all of us (not just to me, but to ezreal, udyr, and janna) and did not yap at his feeding. Instead, bear man harped on me for the rest of the game with words of:

"fuking wood 6 garbage top" "go back to bots" "gg report nidalee for unskilled and inten feeding."

Imma ask for help and understanding now.

  1. How do I abuse trynd's "bad" early game or so as people tell me?
  2. Wtf is going on this situation??? Lucian fed more and extremely towards all of us, yet I, from Janna, Ezreal, and Udyr, received nothing but verbal diarrhea from my teammates!?! I'm pretty sure we were all solo players. Fuck double standards.
  3. How do I play and build nidalee? Build path? AD vs AP vs hybrid? I want some tips and tricks like, where to bushwack around the map, how to trade in lane (cougar and human), anything useful a post-nerf Nidalee player should know, etc.

Thank you and good night!!!

I can't give any Nidalee specific advice, but in my experience the best way to beat a Tryndamere is to build tank early on. I don't know what kind of build you go for, but if you can manage a warden's mail on your first back (even if you sell it later) it utterly screws Tryndamere over.

I dont play Nid, but I was guess you poke him in the face with auto attacks. If he spins to close the gap you cat form and leap away. From fighting Tryn, I look for a pattern in which they use the chicken thing.... if they always use it after they spin I turn around so I dont get hit by the slow and then continue running.

I main nid mainly ap I liked bruiser before the rework not so much now but basically if you have the range advantage even as ap aa the enemy whenever you can as long as you aren't missing a last hit. While this next one is a given land spears whenever you can as well. I rarely go in on cougar form unless I know I can kill it's hard to know this when you start but as you play her more and more you get to know it by feel. her traps are great for free wards but are not an excuse for them. Don't heal your self unless you need to her heal costs a lot of mana and you never know when a spear toss will be the difference of life and death. For builds my favorite path us starting dorans ring with 2 pots and ward totem, next get chalice since spears have great ratios you don't need to rush ap as quickly next finish atehene's asap this item is beautiful on nid mana regen mr cdr ap everything you want, next I like to get alacrity sorc boots now why alacrity over home guard the reason is while home guard is nice to get out of base ms is one of the most broken stats in the game to have so that bonus 15 ms is priceless, next the build really varies person to person I have found that death cap in to rylai's into lichbane or void staff to be a really nice build rylais gives great ap some cc and health which is always nice to have death is kinda staple on all ap mids next the lichbane of void lich if you are snowballing and out scaling the enemy tank ie the have had no chance to itemize against you yet you get to nuke the carries and be happy void if they have itemized against you for the extra damage for a 6th item it's always preference you can keep vision and have good mechanics you get the lichbane otherwise you may want to get a defensive item like banshees or zhonya's. also for runes I like to run attack speed marks 2 flat ap quints 1 ms quint flat armor seals and flat ap glyphs. This gives you great early game damage mobility and ease last hitting and aa harass.

First either buy dorans blade or longsword 3pots Get heal as your first spell, attack him, take some minion damage, heal and attack him more (your heal gives you atk spd bonus)

-Lvl 1, try to push the lane by auto attacking minions (but don't forget to last hit), if you can stay 1-2 minions ahead of him it'd be perfect (remember the wave starts with 6 minions, so say his wave has 2 minions, your wave should have 3 or 4)

-If he tries to farm minions auto attack him and go in bush to lose minion aggro, so that means auto attack him and than go in bush, rinse and repeat. Minion damages add up, especially in early game. Doing that will also activate her passive, which will make attacking him and getting away easier.

-He should have no counter level 1 because he should have blood lust, not spinning slash. If he DID get spinning slash first and he slashes to you, E (heal) couger form, E(swipe) and fight him head on, ignite if he doesn't runaway/flash. You should win because of minion aggro and your 2 skill advantage, unless RNG gods hates you and he gets 2-3 crits in a row through passive.

You should either have farm advantage or killed him by now (unless enemy jungle ruined your day), start building BotRK, and than after frozen gauntlet, gg tryndamere.

Remember as ad nid your spear is more useful to gain the passive more than dmg so you can use it close-mid range, just don't junmp in when he has full hp, try half or one third.

You should not be playing AP nid vrs tryndamere....unless you have god hands with the spear.

*Edit- forgot to say, by pushing the waves that way you should reach lvl 2 first, if he is low enough from harass(2/3hp IF there isn't many minions around him 1/3 if there is) hit lvl 2 Couger form, pounce(W), swipe(E), human form(R), heal(E), auto attack, and ignite. If not, wait till you hit three than spear(Q) him close range, couger(R), pounce(W), swipe(E), takedown(Q), human(R), heal(E), auto attack, and ignite.
