I'm always the one letting my team down.

Every time I try something, it just makes everything worse later on in the game when people actually need me. I'm being an idiot by even attempting to gank when I don't even have the power to. I've been forced to Jungle Irelia for the last 10 games. Even then, I'm just making a supposed powerful champ look bad in every aspect. There's nothing I can do to change the outlook of the game since the enemy team's already ahead by several kills, and also ahead in gold period. There's nothing I can do to even make the beginning of a game look ok, since I'll always just wind up being a failure and dragging people down into a loss just because of my piss poor play. I don't even record my replays, and I make the dumbest plays even though I'm level 14. I can't gank, I can't even lane correctly(which are simple basics!), and I can't even fight. Should I just run into the enemy and die like the failure I'm supposed to be?

Irelia's not good jungler, probably why your failing. Play Warwick or Nunu

Irelia seems easy on paper but until you learn some of the tactics about positioning, wave management, and using AA to last hit CS I suggest switching to an easier long ranged champion. It could simply be that playing Irelia isn't your style. Try out a few different champions that play differently. I suggest:

Malphite TOP - I know I said swtich to range but if you are in top playing a super tanky top laner could be your style instead of a carry laner like Irelia. When you play Malphite start item 2041 and 5 health pots. This will give you tons of sustain so that if you make mistakes you can back off and heal up. You are not trying to win lane here you just want some CS. Don't worry if you fall behind in CS. Just get to the teamfight stage of the game and then hit R when you think you can hit 2+ members of the enemy team or the enemy carry.

Xerath MID - Xerath is a very safe long range poke mage. You can easily use his abilities to farm with once you buy item 3028. He is also focused on teamfights because he has a lot of AoE damage. just stay at range with him and get your CS. Don't forget his awesome passive for mana sustain too! I would recommend starting with item 2041 and 5 pots again or start with item 1056 and health pots. The first option is safer for you as you can keep your health high until you get used to the game more but ultimately you will want to always take Doran's Ring.

Warwick JUNGLE - Warwick is a very simple high sustain jungler. You don't have to worry about ganks until level 6 in which the only thing you need to do is press R when your ally laner is close enough to kill your target. Basic Jungler items to start.

Caitlyn ADC - Longest range and a nice ability to escape with. Always safe your escape to escpae with until you are more confident with the champion. Start item 1055 and 1 health Pot or you can start item 1036 and health pots for some extra early game sustain.

Blitzcrank SUPPORT - Honestly, I hate Blitz but you can't argue with his simplicity, hit Q win lane (normally). Start with item 3301 or item 3302 with 2 health pots and a green ward no matter which one you get. Focus on warding and just catch people with Q, if you do that you will be just fine.

Stop trying to jungle at such low levels. It's not worth it because you lack runes/masteries, and Irelia is not even a jungler.

If you still need to grasp the basics of the game, try playing more bot games rather than PVP, where you seem to be only getting discouraged.

i also had a super hard time learning the game. what i did:

1: watch you-tube channels 2: play only simple mechanic champs, 1 for each lane:warwick, anni, garen, ash, blits where my first champs to learn 3: play only bots until i was happy enough with my results that i can do a costume and win 1v2 with that champ. 4: write down mistakes/weaknesses (CS, why did i die?, why is my opponent stronger then me) 5: get criticisms on your games

Don't stress so much about it, you're only lvl15 still fairly new to the game as you play more and gain exp. i'm sure you will get better! Just don't give up!

Level 14? dont be so hard on yourself just focus on practicing. Youre still learning the game basics
