Some Things About My Mindset and Gameplay In Ranked.

  1. I really don't have a main champion to work with at the moment, and I don't know how to find out which one I can mesh with. I used to play Vi, but now everyone is too tanky for me to burst down; everyone also stops me from soloing Dragon in mid game, or just anticipates and wards it up. I used to like support, but they're so dependent on team performance that often it happens where the ADC can't do anything even if I set up the kill or peel for them. So right at this point I have passable knowledge of all the roles but only feel comfortable with Nasus. All he needs to do well is know how to CS. ... And apparently have a team that doesn't get destroyed. Because the last two times I played as him the enemy team just ran around every where else and avoided me until they had destroyed the team. Can't wither everyone, they build tanky and then they death balled.
  2. I don't like early game champions anymore because they lose early and stay behind the rest of the game, depending on ally performance. With Nasus I can build tanky and still destroy turrets.
  3. Questions: I really want to get to Gold for the Victorious skin. What do I need to do to start chain winning? Am I too dependent on the team? How can I not be? Every game I lose has to be my fault to some degree because I know blaming the team will get me nowhere; so without wearing myself out on checking for a hundred different variables, how can I improve my way to Gold V before the season ends and I lose my vanity skin that shows I won the season to an extent? And by that I mean at once - like counters, timing of teleport and jungle objectives, when ultimates will be back up, etc. Seeing as how this needs experience, then I need ideas of the right direction to go in. Nothing too hard or awkward. Nothing FotM for the sake of being FotM. And not Udyr - I do not see myself being able to win as Udyr anytime soon unless I chain played him all the time. Also, how do I stop overthinking if I'm perceived as being histrionic?
  4. Please please please be respectful. Don't just throw out champion names and say that I'll win with them. Don't demoralize and make it sound like "constructive criticism" - give me a solid unanimous direction to go in. Nothing about uninstalling, or giving up, or why I cannot play who I'm trying to do well as without valid reasons why. And nothing that would induce me to get upset and take it out on someone or something in real life. I know I can achieve what I want without the additional stress and concern, so think before you type. Thank you.

op.gg, LolKing, and Match History for data. I have no vids on op.gg, and I don't like LoLReplay.

Hi, My comment probably won't be as in depth as you're looking for but have you tried an 'op support' method? Taking Volibear, Nautilus, (nasus?), Singed (just try not to ks)...etc bot lane, to get the adc fed. That way you'll earn your worth in assists and your adc will be strong as well.

I am a mid main support secondary.

I prefer to take strong ap supports (ori, morg, lux, annie) and build ap...(yes im bronze..lol...but I did get into silver 5 out of my promo's last season and...well i was b4 before my ban 2 weeks ago but...).

I find that I can burst the adc down and let my adc last hit the enemy for an easy kill most times.

If I dont play support Ill try for mid and play ori, ahri, akali, syndra, and cassiopeia...

cassi should basically counter any melee champion who would go mid.. ahri and ori are GREAT if you're not so good at last hitting and need a champion who does 1/8 a minion's health in damage in 1 shot. I've mained syndra for about 1 1/2 years now and I just love her. Shes strong, (easy once you get the hang of her) but challenging to play with at the same time. Akali is a 50/50 situation. her early game kinda sucks but if you're against a tf with an iffy jung, by lvl 6 you'll have him and then some.

My favorite jungle is Diana. Her sheild is strong and once she's level 6, she can easily get fed. If she gets ahead enough (and she is the fastest jungle clear I've had so far (I've played all chicks {who are jungle champs ie sej, shyv, irelia} but vi, rek, nidalee and elise junge). I also love the fact that shes an ap burst type but shes also tanky as well. ( im a girl...obviously lel.)

I don't play much adc, but when I do I like Jinx and Miss fortune. Sometimes vayne but I'm not a great vayne at all.

and top lane, I don't play much of but when I do, I like akali, Irelia, shyvana, teemo....., nasus seems to be a stong pick though.

If I play ranked I try to mid or support because if I'm mid, I have a strong handle on what way the game can go, If i get fed with my mains (syn, ori, ahri) then i could possibly carry. and If im support, I'm able to sit back and set up kills for my team. Jungle scares me in ranked. Adc scares me too. And im confident top but I just don't play it much.

Hope I gave you some direction. Just trying to help. :3.

As a guy who recently has gotten to gold V, there's a few tips i can give you to get to gold. Watch Professional streams. The main reason your still in silver or wherever you are, is because you lack the knowledge or skill to execute that knowledge of the game, and to single handedly carry your team. Or you just dont play that much soloque. A way that helped me understand the game and how people think, is by watching professional streamers such as theoddone, and it actually helps out alot, not just with the champs they play, but the general thought process of a challenger tier player. Getting to a rank such as gold (unless your a smurf) is pretty hard. Finding a good duo partner that you can trust is usually the best way, as carrying 3 people is much easier then carrying 4. Soloqueing can still work, its just harder and takes alot more time. Farming and harassing enemy laners on their mistakes is key. One tricking certain champs can help you carry a game, but if you get forced into another roll, the game will be much harder for you, due to limiting yourself to one roll/champion. A safe way to ranking up is investing bits of time practicing every roll, and different champions and builds for that roll. Therefore you learn the matchup and win your lane 80% of the time, thus making a game easier to carry by not only making you stronger but raising team morale. Some easy and really op champs that can carry low elo soloque games would include Top- Renekton / Nasus Mid- Chogath (if hes not banned) / Annie / Diana Jungle- Yi / Vi / Volibear / Sej / Gragas / Basically anyone if your good with ganking Adc- Sivir / Lucian / Ashe Support- Lux / Annie / Naut / Zyra / Morgana / I personally like going damage supports when i was in lower elo, due to being able to carry your whole team even if they lose and feed, as your as strong as an actual midlaner. But the main thing that you have to know is that it takes time, its not easy and wont happen instantly unless you get a really good duo partner, or really dont deserve anywhere near your current rank. It takes time and perseverance. If your on tilt, take a break, play later that day or even wait till tomorrow. Just keep a positive attitude whenever you play and try to do the best you can, because you cant win every game with the amount of trolls in silver/bronze. Its impossible. It takes alot of time and effort. I wasnt able to climb to gold until I could win 90% of the time in any lane I went, you have to outclass your fellow ranks in everyway possible to rank up fast. Especially going through all the trolls. If you follow most of this, you could probably get to gold within a month or two, like i did. But dont be afraid to stop playing for a bit of you go on a losing streak. Theres no harm in taking a break. As you stated you have good knowledge of the game, but you have to open up your champ pool, starting with easy strong picks is probably the safest way, and can be learned and mastered easily. Just work at it and you'll rank up for sure. Sorry if this guide didnt help though, kindof messy at 5am, if you need any help still, add me on league and i can give you some tips. Thanks
