Vi or J4?
I personally enjoy playing Vi more, but I feel like J4 offers more. Which champion would you pick and why?

I have both but I have to say J4 Offers a lot more utility that doesn't exactly carries the game but helps get his team very fed. Also J4 really really needs tanky items. He offers a lot of great tankyness in Teamfights and great double buff lvl 3 ganks. But my point for Vi is she is one of the carry junglers that will really take over a game if fed. As long as you keep wards over dragon early game as vi youll be getting all the gold and be doing tons of damage. It really depends on your playstyle and whether you want to carry games or help your team carry.
Vi, because I wanna punch things. I guess J4 has better overall teamfight (unless you screw your own team with Cataclysm) and jungle clear, but he doesn't punch things.

I personally prefer playing Vi because she pressures dragon much, much better thanks to her W. Also, her mobility is somewhat less limited than Jarvan's over extended skirmishes.
I do think that Jarvan's stronger levels 3 and 4 on top of his ability to function without much farm make him a generally better pick, tho, if only by a little.
i played vi top at release; it wasn't very good. I've heard some high level players play her mid sometimes, but you will see her in the jungle 99.99% of the time. J4 is a much more versatile champion; i've played him support, top (as tank or high damage bruiser), and mid (AD Assassin J4 so troll), and of course in the jungle.
If you happen to prefer Vi, just play Vi; she is really strong and once she gets ahead she steamrolls lanes
that's pretty much spot on; both are good, just give both a try and see how you like them
j4 is tankier has more utility and plus vi brings nothing but utility in the late game but that goes with jarvan only except he has more utility only except jaravan's utility is relevant all game while vi is only relevant for damage early game which makes farming on her very important and can only live long enough in team fights when she gets tanky so thats when late game comes and her damage falls off unless you are one of those junglers that build all damage in that case pls learn that you can't expect your top laner to tank ALL the skillshots you need to help with some of the tanking just let your top laner do most of the tanking unless you have a lulu or nidalee top in that case you and the support do all teh tanking
Vi when you absolutely must get to the ADC and crush them at the start of every fight.
Jarvan for pretty much every other situation.
I personally play vi a lot (I have played J4 before, but I didn't really like him) and I believe that the only difference is that J4's ult affects multiple people, and Vi's only effects one, but it is a lock down. J4 can do damage, but I view him as more of a tanky champion than damage. Vi on the other hand is very strong, tanky, and can snowball, and can annoy the hell out of any enemy if done well (I don't see many people who build trinity on her, I mean seriously, you do more damage than a frikkin zed with that item xD), and dunking people is fun.
