How to research Item builds / orders, Rune / Mastery choices, Counter picks, and Counter strats.

Ok. So for starters, I would like to just say that I am annoyed by the amount of people asking, "what should I build on this champ", and things of this nature.

To Help alleviate this issue, I am hoping to create the next sticky in this forum that will help people learn how to research issues on their own.

Ok, The first website I am going to link everyone reading this is a great way to learn how the pro's build various champions. By this I mean that You can click a champion, then browse which pro who has played this champion recently and their match up for that specific game. This allows you to see what they like in regards to; what items they bought each time they backed and an overall completed item build, their masteries and runes, and even their skill order. All this information is given under the final score screen so you may extrapolate what the pro was thinking with his build based off his match up. Congratulations. Now everyone can stop asking in here about what an optimal build is. Pro players are the defacto people for what is optimal. What summoner spells. If you need to buy MR early based off a specific match up. What the best starting items are. The best jungle masteries for that favorite champion of yours. http://www.probuilds.net/ Is your new website to add to favorites.

The second website I am going to share with you is about champion counters / synergy. When you select a champion it will give you a list of champions you can select as a counter pick. It will give you a list of champions that synergize well with it. It will give you information on how to counter play that specific champion and which summoner spells and items work best against them. This site will tell you within 10 seconds how to counter someone in draft mode. It will also allow you to quickly learn how you want to play against this champion after you have made your selection. It will allow you to research which duo's you may want to run in the bottom lane based off synergy or jungler to run based off your mid laners champion choice. http://www.lolcounter.com/ is your new website to add to favorites.

My last link is about pick order vs call order in the draft mode. Any time someone wants to complain about you picking your role when they supposedly called that role first, you get to throw this in their face. This link is Riot Gaming officially endorsing pick order. This is not to say that you should always go exactly by this. It's nice to give people the role they want from time to time if you don't mind changing your own. It helps with team moral and coincidentally will increase your chances at winning when everyone is happy. http://forums.eune.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=576942&page=1#post5326420 is your new link to add to favorites, or at least keep copy pasted ;)

I would love to see more posts in this forum. The caveat to that statement is I am tired of reading questions from people who are too lazy to research them first. Chances are 75 other people have already asked it, or possibly answered it. Thank you for reading and I hope to see any other suggestions for websites for research. These are just the main 2 I use because they are quick and very intuitive sites.

I rather look up the actual good guides for counters, than use these sites, which are collect data from really limited sources.

Champion.gg is an excellent site that has everything, most used runes/masteries/builds/winrate/counters etc. nerf.plz has great tier lists to know which champions are strong right now lolking.net has pretty good guides Youtube has the best guides since you can find full games, and people telling you how to play the champ (combos etc.)

The best one imo is champion.gg as it pools data to give you the best possible overall builds.
