I suck at my main champion?

Okay, so hear me out. I play Wukong and went from Silver 4 to Silver 2. However, I suddenly became bad with the champ. Like I make poor decisions, make a lot of misplays, and I end up feeding. Before, I was really good with Wukong but I then became bad? Can anyone explain if they experienced the same thing?

could be you have harder opponents. could be you hit a wall. could be you general league skills.

just work through it.

You are likely playing against more skilled opponents. What worked against your previous opponents may no longer work and you have to adjust your playstyle.

That, or maybe you just need a bit of a break from Wukong.

Just sounds like tilt. Step back and review your gameplay; you may simply be forgetting some basics as you became too comfortable. Complacency is an easy way to lose when you shouldn't.

Over confidence leading to bad decisions, or Bad opponents allowing false sense of dominance. Happened to me with taric. 10 game win streak. "man I'm good with taric....wait taric takes zero mechanics to play. Never mind gotta be bad opponents."

Tilt/Burnout.

You need to give your brain a rest period from certain champs. Wukong's not difficult but even I know a whole day with him would exhaust me given how much I play with his S/W Jukes.

Play normals and just mess around with something entirely new. Stay away from things you consider similar to Wukong, or play Wukong in ways you never normally consider.

You're just being overconfident. Same thing happens to every new champ I pick up. You start out, learn the ropes, wreck some games, than get cocky and think that just having experience with your champion qualifies as an in-game buff. Try "re-learning" them and set your limitations. For ex: I learned Aatrox and had to almost start over when I couldn't figure out what was making me lose games with him. Matchups and build paths are the easiest things to make mistakes with, because it can be hard to experiment with them from game to game.
