Which tank junglers are the "best"?

Good ganks, good teamfights, good clears... If there's such a thing. I have 6,3k IP. I wanted to buy khazix (I played him when he was free week and liked him), but I fear (I'm certain) I won't be able to use him proprelly in ranked. I'm currently using malphite and udyr, more or less... With the first, I can't seem to be of much use without my ult whereas with the latter... Well, I can't seem to be able to pull off ganks (or at least ganks that doesn't end up with me dying and the ennemy surviving) unless the ennemy is extremely overextended (which, most of the time, is at his tower, alongside my teamate) - not talking about the fact that if I don't have an advantage, I can't seem to keep up late. I used to play maokai and olaf jungle, however in most games it didn't turn out too well... So yeah. I was thinking of going sion, his clears aren't too bad, he's very tanky and has lots of cc. I heard amumu was very strong too. What are your thoughts? Do you have any tanky jungler you'd recommand me?

Nautilus late game his W makes him so much more tanky, and has huge amounts of cc the downside to him is that he only provides all ins

Amumu Pretty basic jungler but pretty good and strong

RekSai has a lot of utility with passive and short cd knockup, provides damage and tankiness, as well as global pressure for the team

Rammus self explanatory

TahmKench may not be a regular jungler but has the potential to be one, his clears are good once you get level 6 and he can soak up damage

Ekko I don't really like tank Ekko but he can soak up a metric ton of damage with his W shield and ult

I love Nocturne, but I don't see him used much in jungling these days.

Gragas is he best tank jungler in the game, good clears, strong early game ganks, RANGED innituation/disengage, he's really strong and versatile

A good amumu will win games. There is no way to deny it. He's incredibly tanky and has aoe % damage though the range is really short on it. Massive game winning ult.

Trundle is a decent choice. Pick up a botrk early on and go into full tank. His ult drain is pretty amazing. He lacks hard cc unless you hit a perfect iceberg for a knockup or a wall trap. Also if the enemy team is tanky he is quite possibly the best tank buster in the game. Possibly second best to vayne. A really strong pick if you take to time to master him.

Skarner is sorta fotm now since he got his newest rework but he is a very strong tank. His ult makes picks and ganks easy peasy. His clears are decent and his shield is pretty damn strong.

Udyr is well...udyr. He gets tanky and can gank pretty well. He can split push and his running speed is about up there with singed. Also you can take dragon a 4 minutes. Every time. I prefer starting and maxing q on him now. R just doesn't feel very powerful any more.

Rammus if they are ad heavy. Rammus is a freaking nightmare with toad smite and a thornmail. The enemy team will kill themselves on you.

Taric is insanely tanky. clears aren't great until you get a sheen though. His ganking power is alright but he is a tank through and through. don't expect to burst anyone. A late game taric is damn near unkillable. I'm not joking. I've seen this gem loving bastard tank entire teams while slowly walking away getting beat senseless by the entire enemy team and living with nearly full life by the time he made it to mid inner from their base turret.

Garen can jungle relatively well and his ganks on overextended lanes are pretty good. no hard cc though.

Nocturne can do it but it just doesn't go well with full tank in my experience. a trinity makes him a lot stronger.

I really don't like tank junglers they can be good for a team comp , but im more into the Dmg side. If you dont have Elise Give her a go. she is really good She can be built full Ap or Tanky Ap

When you go tank you give up on clear speed. This is because the champion is more team oriented and tanky jungle champions want to gank lanes often to keep up instead. You play support jungle for all intents and purposes but have more gold then support due to your access to jungle.

Tank Junglers:

Amumu Gragas JarvanIV Maokai Nautilus Nunu Sejuani RekSai Volibear Zac Warwick Skarner

Keep in mind you don't need to build tank on any of these champions they just can. Many are happy building bruiserish builds with a mix of tank/ad or tank/ap. If you really want to go all out tank and want quick clear speed though...Nunu is for you. You focus on counter jungling and applying pressure with nunu. He cannot gank very well but he has amazing peel for your carries in team fights. Focus on stealing enemy jungle camps with Nunu and you can always do a drive-by Q just to help the lane out a bit.

Gragas, Shyvana, Hecarim, and Sej are in my opinion the best tank Jungles.

Gragas has good CC and can basically control the direct you will be going, but has the weakness of being slow so if he is seen before a gank he is utterly worthless.

Shyvana gets pretty tanky as well as does decent damage, moreso if she is in dragon form but only weakness is has no CC other than said transforming into dragon, so basically her ganks only consist of bursting you down fast enough before you get to your tower usually.

Sejuani I feel is a bit of a hidden gem since her Ult even now is downright game changing with ease. She has a gapcloser so you can't outrun her easily, she can basically perma slow you as well as if I recall right, her slow also does a %hp damage so it can add up quickly. Then that godly ult. She I feel is tied with Heca as being the best Tank Jungle.

Hecarim is probably the best Tank Jungle hands down. Good damage, Good tankiness and extremely high MS. His ult is just as gamechanging as Sej's, but also can be used to catch someone while Sej still has to run to you even if it hits. His charge is probably one of the most powerful CC in the game since it gives him a very large MS steriod and when it connects, a powerful knockback. Usually the only way to survive a Heca gank is flashing over his charge, otherwise you are dead every time with basically no chance to fight back since he will charge you back into lane. If Heca has Flash available too then even with flash you won't survive since he can flash in front of you and point black ult you and the fear will push you back into lane a bit.

All in all I would suggest Sej or Hecarim.

Volibear Is defiantly the pick I suggest, hes got a decent cc abilities, A bite that scales off of his hp and the missing hp of the enemy and his ult is strong for pulling the HP of the squishier champs before he dies, even if they ignore you and go straight for the carries you deal a huge amount of damage with your ult and max w stacks that they are forced to pick some one to focus first.

So... Amumu and gragas seem to have been named the most times. Some others who have been said seem to be interesting, while the rest i've never tried/couldn't get the hand on. I'll try amumu out since I own him.
