4/5 cost units rules TFT again...

In patch date 7.1 they change the drop rate to make 2/3 cost units more relevant; in patch 9.14 they buffed 2/3 cost units to make them worth to use. Before last patch, we can play Kennen/Aatrox/Rengar/Volibear/Kat/Shyvana as carry. Now here we are again, all the good carrys are only 4/5 cost units, Jinx/Draven/Brand/Karthus/Kayle/Swain/Yasuo are so powerful, MF got buffed simply because all the other 5 cost units are too good & Anivia will be buffed for now she's weakest one. Why don't riot nerf the strong 5 cost units instead? What's the point to buff 2/3 cost units anyway since they don't stand a chance to carry as hard as 5 cost units? Check the TFT.GG and you will see almost all the carrys are 4/5 cost, and 3 cost carrys aren't good, 2 cost? A joke. Even for Gunslinger you will see no one choose Tristana or Graves to carry when they have a sweet Jinx anyway. But we used to have a Garen spin carry; a invincible Darius carry; a RFC Nidalee carry; A AS Kassadin carry, Where are them now? Kennen probably is the carriest one in 3 costs, he got 675 aoe damage at lv3 while Swain got 600 aoe damage at lv1 and 1200 at lv2, like what's the point to level 3 a low cost units anyway?

I disagree.

Rengar is still a very powerfull unit if you stack him, to the point that is almost impossible to kill if you get him at 3 stars. Gangplank still works as carry for the majority of the game until you hit jinx. Lucian is getting nerfed for a good reason. Poppy is a monster if you stack her. Lulu can make singlehandledy win you the game if you stack her. Braum is the most annoying unit to deal with if you invest on him.

The difference between 1 - 2 - 3 cost units, and 4 and 5, is that you have a good chance to 3 star the first ones, compared with the borderline imposibility of getting the second ones to 3 stars.

The issue with 4 coin units being the carrys, its because theyre too strong right now , specially jinx and draven, thats why theyre getting nerfed.

Oh, and btw, the carries on Rangers and Yordles, are all 1, 2 and 3 coin units.

I don't really understand your thought process. You want a 2 gold, easy to obtain a 3 star variant of unit to be as strong of a carry as a 5 gold unit that you'll likely not even make 2 stars outside of a lot of luck? What would be the point in ever investing the gold it would take to rank up a 4/5 star if you could make a carry just as good with low cost units? The point of costing more is they're supposed to be better.

So...? You have Early Mid and Lategame to play and want a carry for each state.

What's the problem of stacking a Kassa, sell him for a stacked Kennen, sell him for stacked Swain? Or stacking a Tris and sell her once you get the Jinx? (<- That's an abolute no-brainer) Or stacking a Nida. and transition into Draven?

I think they should have kept the nerfed version of MF and switched it out for Jinx. MF seems hard to balance between KILLING everything or doing nothing. Glass cannon champion.

I do agree going hard for 3 star 1-costs doesn't feel very fulfilling. It does seem to be a result of power creep.

That being said: I don't think the game should be dominated by 1 cost minions. So I think it's better that high cost minions feel more rewarding.
