3 patchs still no one play him: why RIOT just admit they are wrong about changing Galio?

Apology first. I can't post in Gameplay section because my account is LV1. I'm a chinese player and also a Galio main, I played this game when he got reworked and I instant fell in love with him, so I'm very pissed about it. Since CN sever (AKA Tencent) doesn't care about gameplay issues so I have to say it here. Since the 9.14 Galio changes, 3 patchs in a roll no enough data for him at OP.GG. No one play him now, and that's the hard proof for RIOT to fvcking realise they did wrong. But they did nothing, they even didn't address this issue anywhere anytime. I thought they need more time to actually realise that, but it's been 1 month, how many time do you need riot??? I don't know about the Galio main community, but I'm not happy about riot's negligence towards him. I play TFT as well, I know the TFT team has a developer (Riotmog specific) who constantly listen and reply to TFT players, why there is no one do so for SR? Maybe some developers have talked about it, if they did let me know what they said. Thanks!

Game is balanced around high elo, Galio was clapping people in pro play. It's easier for the game designers to just toss the champ into the trash first, rather than to balance out his old kit. I'm sure they'll get back to him in 4 or 5 months which is their standard reaction time for weak/unpopular kits.

Well I know they always take months (even years) to actually get back to a rework like Leblanc or Zac, but this time even GP players don't play him anymore, and that has not happened to Leblanc or Zac, many players still played them before the reverse, so I think they really should consider to reverse him ASAP.

I mean, they deleted aatrox, no one cared, they deleted galio, no one cared. New galio got nerfed, now we're supposed to care?

Remember old Fiora's ult got removed because it was unhealthy design? Not much different than Alpha strike which is still in the game or Rek'sai/Kayn ults added since.

My point is you don't get to keep what you like, they will keep changing things for stupid reasons and then outright delete champions when no one or atleast the vocal majority wont play them anymore.

Because riots shareholders don’t want them to admit they were wrong. Riot cannot do anything unless their shareholders want them to which sucks

Why Galio though? What's the problem to simply admit and reverse that rework? I don't see Tencent have reasons to not let riot admit they did wrong about Galio. I know they reversed Leblance and Zac, so they should know better this time.

As a private investor (which is also a shareholder) in Tencent and other things, please be aware that a shareholder wouldn't actually care about this or otherwise have a say. Not only is it extremely small in the League ecosphere, League is also just one small part of Tencent. If anything, shareholders would be most happy about a healthy game state with maximum community happiness and maximum monetary spending to preserve future cash flow. If anything, shareholder interest would affect staffing availability for League (and as a byproduct, more developers and balance team action/research)... But the game is profitable and sustainable at present and this would be a small revert anyways, very much individually outside of shareholder interest or care.

This doesn't explain why Riot is just pretending the Galio thing didn't happen and he's just fine, but I just want you to know that on Tencent's most recent earnings call, nobody was asking questions about some megabyte of data called Galio.exe. Some education for the day, with no intent to be rude or anything.

I have heard about it, Garena are pretty bad at maintainning the game.Tencent is doing decent job at blocking cheaters, Garena server is full of cheaters. But tencent are really a money grabbing machine, you don't even know how many stuffs they have hidden away from us so they can rise the price to make a fortune other time. We can't buy Valentine/Pool Party/New Year and many others skin just because they make it LEGACY to rise price. Also they took away many client functions and add many other functions, so we get a real buggy client. FUN FACT: we didn't get Icon/ward/chorma collection page untill today's patch 9.16.

Actually I know a small group of people played him before the full rework. It was unpopular for sure, but still playable. Also, reworking a un-unpopular champion back to unpopular state is just wrong. If u reworked him to make him more playable and more popular, why rework him back to that BAD old days?
