So which is it? Hextech or Nobles??
Many people on the forums are freaking out about how Nobles are insta-win, or that hextech is insta-win. Which is it? There's no overlap, and I don't think many people are getting 6 nobles and 4 hextech...

nobody gets 4 hextech, because 2 is already overpowered
Nobles is closer to an insta win but out of 5 people chasing it per game, only about 2 ever get Kayle, and Noble DOES have counters (Demon/Void/Sorc for example).
It's just that most people aren't building a counter team, have poor economy control, chase stars over XP/team comps, or invest heavily in some tank build that works vs some teams but dies fast to grievous wounds.
Here's the #1 reason people lose though:
You are #8 player and get put vs #1 player 6 times in a row.
I'm 100 percent sure people just overhyped hextechs. Like there was a post about them being broken for like 3 days then they stopped. Lot of the post about hextechs were just people being like omg it's broken or it's not fun to play against.
I never actually saw one that give a good explanation to why they're good.
From what I played nobles seem pretty good, especially late where they become very hard to kill with kayle. But I'm not sure.
why would you go 4 hextechs? lmao, just get vi and jinx gg
hextech is only used as a tech to other comps as 2 champs, and imo the buff is balanced its just that other buffs are good already and would not mind a free decent buff as a tech [also jinx is pretty op]
The problem is Jinx is OP and it's really easy to fit Jinx + (blademaster/brawler) into a wide range of comps.
So you're rewarded for what's little investment with Hextech 1 which, even if you space your comp out well, can dumpster you especially if you're low on items or it's earlier in the game.
Hell, even your scenario doesn't contradict since Nobles/Hextech 1 would be an entirely valid comp.
As for Nobles, 3 nobles doesn't feel bad and is roughly comparable to a few other early game bonuses, and I'm still convinced people aren't noticing just how much the Leona/Kayle contribution is layering up that Noble 6 buff rather than just Noble 6's strength itself. That said I actually like Nobles more than I do Hextech because at least you'll probably get fought for on Kayle / Lucian (and it can be knockup cheesed) --- Hextech meanwhile needs its duration lowered at Rank 1 and Jinx to get some scaling back so people aren't just cramming her and Draven into whatever the fuck.
2 hextech is useful to counter the "single carry champion" idea. But yeah, nobles is kind of overpowered; all my tft games have become a race to see who can snatch up the nobles first and win.
