Ever since the 9.14 update I feel like I don't know how to play TFT anymore. I can never get close to getting above 4th place. Can never get any matches of champions. The combos always seem to suck why I use them. I just don't understand anymore. I enjoy to play the game when I want to chill but it gets annoying when you get last and are always placed last and can never stay on a win streak. The game feels crappy to play and its annoying to not having anything work. I just don't understand what fundamental part of the game I'm missing that causes me to lose so often. I legit can't get out of bronze 4 cause I always lose whatever lp i gain. Never have gone over 50 lp out of the 10 or so games I've played. Highest placement was like 4th place.

The TFT community is hilarious. People who think they're good refuse to admit how much RNG there is because it takes away from how "good" they are. I find this game to have a strong gambling addiction element to it. There are already two people in this thread who are basically saying git gud. Does that even have relevance in a game where you can be the best player ever, do everything mathematically correct for the optimal win % and still lose because 1 out of the other 7 people just got better stuff. The only argument really is that you should be able to place top 4 more than bottom 4.

TFT is in a terrible state, funny part is alot of people boosting themselves with friends to high ranks, because oh yea you can que up with multiple friends IN RANKED

TFT is just a copy pasta from Auto Chess, plus it sucks. Auto Chess is more fun

The mode jsut sucks, it feels like a sociopath made the rules , riot should feel ashamed for this mess.

I'm stuck in iron 4 bcs i never get ANY items and when i start building something, for example wild shapeshifters i get all the knights and assasins...

yea, you are doing so much wrong then. I went from Iron 2 - Gold 4 in just a few days. I place 1-4 the vast majority of the time.

legit i had 100 games and never got anywhere to first place ik how to build and what items to go for but this game is all around broken theres nothing about getting good it says its based on luck yet the champs are actually stupid and dont know how to use there abilities its a shame really as the game could of been fun but honestly so much problem with it like the fact of never ever getting any champs to level 3 even the weakest of them you cant as they never show up the items are awful in most case and in 50 or so games ive only gone up to second place won and lost all the other ones before even getting to 4th place (ps only won second place cuz the game didnt drop anything good for anyone) the carousel is actually the worst part for me as youre always blocked in a ring and can never get the items you need the items should be drops that you get from doing wilds but its not around enough to even win anything this game is trash sad to say but true and it needs to fix lots of things just go back to the real game its not worth the time

Hey Dragontamer, dont worry, what you experience is what I experienced before and it will probably happen again with each patch(tho hopefully not as much). they changed a lot of things and some items/champions are just straight up broken now. Most people will RIGHTFULLY abuse these mechanics for as long as they are around in ranked. Right now I usually get good placing after I got used to the new patch.

They will fix some broken champs/items tomorrow(wednesday) so the game will (hopefully) get more about actual skill than abusing a few broken champs/items.

As the game is now you should not messure your skill with your rank, as there are too many bugs/exploits in the game.
