Activate 6 unit traits 3 times
What is the trick I have played numerous games getting at a minimum 6 traits active at one time. This last game I had 10 traits active and did not get credit...

I could be wrong since haven't done it yet. I think it means 6 class buff. 6 Yordles. 6 Glacials 6 demons 6 assassins Etc.
Traits are abilities that you unlock when you have a certain amount of champions that are same faction or same class, or both.
Some Faction/Class abilities require minimum number of champions to have active on your team in order to activate lower effect of said Ability, or have more of champions of said trait to upgrade the ability, or to use maximum number of them to unlock the final upgrade for an ability(let's say, have 3 nobles at start with Garen Fiora and Vayne, but then I upgrade it at max by adding Lucian Leona and Kayle and that's all 6 of them).
Faction and Class abilities are the whole reason why you build comp either around certain factions and/or classes, NOT just by slapping random champions that have no traits in common.
I did the same thing the first few games.. Then realized, oh 6 of one type, gunslinger, yordle etc. Many games wasted lol..

This mission is an examples of egregiously poor language. The first time I played a game I thought the same thing as OP: certainly what this is saying is "Activate 6 different unit traits at once for 3 rounds."
Ended the game after doing so: still incomplete.
Then I hovered over the mission and saw that what it MEANT was "Activate a 6 piece trait 3 times" so I thought OH! Poor language, but I can do that! I'll definitely activate 1 6-piece trait for at least 3 rounds! That will activate the 6-piece trait 3 times. That MUST be what they mean!
Still wrong. I had 6 demons for like 12 games in a row and it only counted for one instance.
So either this mission should read "Activate 6-unit traits over 3 games" (the hyphen is incredibly important here) or "activate 3 different 6-unit traits." Or maybe both are possible. I have no idea because the descriptions for these are always so poorly written/explained.
