Honest feedback on TFT to make it better
Totally honest, I've been playing every day and I have to admire the concept of a FFA mode on League. I've long said that there should be a place for those who want to one-on-one or at least not be part of a team and this is it. I've done far better in the mode than in 5v5, but a few things do need to be fixed. So, honest feedback:
-
Please do not allow champions to have more than two items. It really kills a game when one champion has three items and can just wipe out anybody in two hits.
-
Rewarding failure and punishing success - The champion carousel opens to the players with the worst rank first, best rank last. This isn't much of an incentive to do anything but purposely lose the first two rounds at less HP cost to get better champions and better combos. How about a system that allows this:
A. Ten second pick for the champions B. Nobody else can move towards the carousel when the person is making their pick. After ten seconds if nobody is picked they get a randomly chosen champion at the end of the round. C. #1 goes first, #8 goes second. #2 goes third, #7 goes fourth, #3 goes fifth, #6 goes sixth, then #4 and #5

Regarding level 3's and champions - There should be some way to guarantee a higher chance at a champion you need for level 3 once you have two level 2's - I'm constantly unable to upgrade while others have 3 or 4 level 3's. The main reason is you require 9 copies of a champion to make a level 3, and the higher cost ones are hard to find and extremely expensive to combine.

Final suggestion: Guaranteed drops in minion and monster rounds. For the minions, one round drops an AP item, one drops an AD item, one drops a tank/health item. Dragon drops two items. I've gone 9 rounds without a single drop and it really sucks considering I'd have won if I didn't have to fight two people with guardian angel and three with rageblade!
Overall though, fun game mode and I hope it gets tweaked enough to be a lot more fun. Of course, we always need to add Teemo
at some point: Yordle ranger with the ability to, you guessed it, drop invisible mushrooms around the map so when champions move over them, BOOM! It would be like Gangplank's barrels in that mechanic, since yordles already grant a chance to miss if you group them up.
